Sounds like Mr. Backs has answered that question a time or two.
Indiana turkey hunting is by no means exceptional and even compared to all the state's he listed with the SEAFWA Director's announcement it would rate way down the list.
With the other states early starts and multiple bird limits they still provide better hunting than Indiana ever has. There's a problem somewhere and I'd say it will be discovered after Mr. Backs is gone.

I worked one odd the roost in Kentucky, move 180° on him twice and missed him at 2:30 in the afternoon while I was sitting against the same tree I started against.
Killed him 3 days later.

Most of the crap Phil Potter printed wasn't even the truth.
I met Steve Ford on a dove hunt one time.
I miss neither of them, but wish they still had someone doing outdoor articles.

I put a Diamondback on a 30-06 and don't care for it. Just seems like it should be a better scope. It's dark and I have a hard time seeing through it.
I looked through a Crossfire and it seemed brighter and clearer.
I have a Venom reflex sight waiting to put on a turkey gun and I think I'm going to like it.

I read that foolishness.... I also read on their own site the posts of a member that shows two more evaluations of this site that back up what Woody has said. And while I'm quite sure that there will be another video, and more pointless attempts to continue to discredit Woody and this site, I just consider the source. But the irony of this group posting about profits when they are hosted by a company that makes billions of dollars yearly selling ads and marketing info is laughable. And they have PAID FB in the past....maybe still doing it! All them LIKES didn't come FREE! More pesky facts... Everyone single time you see "sponsored" under the name of a page it is a paid advertisement. They have gotten even more comical. Imagine the dough Woody will be rolling in when they save the deer in Indiana. Surely they realize that for profit websites make money based on traffic.

The rain held off long enough for the neighbors to shoot a bird and proceed to drive up and down the lane, so that one of the other birds gobbling would not come out into the field.
I thought the stupidity of this property ended when the previous owner died. Looks like it has just gotten worse. People amaze me.

Look You want to twist numbers correct you say CDAC's are biased you say they are only the people complain Sampling error was calculated based on a sample size of 8,591 and a population size of 154,303. Here's my Point Ty & Woody I stated in another post we completed our 7th CDAC we have had 425 folks sign in we have had over 1000 surveys turned in from 7 counties So if my Math is correct that would be 61 per county average showing up X 92 counties = 5612 Then the Surveys would be average of 142 x 92 counties = 13,064 for a Total of 18676 Responding to the Deer Herd Management of ANtlerless Quotas That's far more 8591 over 10,000 more How many people have taken your survey that do not live or hunt in the county it is for? How many have taken it multiple times?

I mowed, but only because I want it to look good for the Easter bunny. It really didn't need it in most places.

My son and I are up to about 150. Less than most years at this point and if it doesn't rain soon there won't be many more added.

Ridgecrest Outfitters or Peabody WMA. I hunted it 2 days this weekend and an adult could have killed 3 birds. An 8 year old not so much.

I've seen 80 in one 20 acre field before at night during season with 120 total in it and the two adjacent fields. Woody has probably seen it too. It was in his area.
I guess anything is possible.

If you can find any, the Federal Heavyweight #7's out of the 870 would probably be good with the right choke. I would think it would be a little heavier than the single shots and have less recoil.
