I feel it 100% the appropriate time to post a thread such as this. In recent months and even dating back to last year this forum has been attacked by many. Been labeled a group or a single acting entity...opinions by individuals here expressed as if we as a whole felt the same way....and just anything and everything you can imagine.
Woody, created an amazing forum here to be bluntly honest.
NO other forum for an Indiana Hunter allows more respectful dialogue and debate FROM ANY SIDE than here. Oh my word have we had some debates...just bring up OBR vs TBR...most likely you will learn quickly not all here agree. We truly are a collection of NUMEROUS opinions and thoughts towards anything and everything wildlife.
Yes, there are a few that can get less tactful than others...some are quieter than they should be and others sometimes louder than they should be...but all in all I've never been part of a forum where more diverse opinions are accepted at minimum with respect.
So for that much thanks Woody and the admins.
Very few have come here and not been able to behave like mature individuals and after many warnings and chances to be respectful get kicked (I personally can only think of one...but I haven't been here really terribly long).

A "OPEN" forum to discuss hunting related topics, experience's and observation's. (I love it personally.) Not sure why or how it became that "this forum" or " certain members" are against other groups ? I have never felt that way or seen the group administrator's act in that way??? Of course everyone of us has their own opinion, that is where the discuss part come's in.

I'm an old sole here, I've been around since shortly after it's beginning. This is what this forum was created for. It has lived for a long time under this idea and will continue.

I started this forum back on July 21, 2005. I did it because i got tired of the constant bickering on other Indiana hunting sites. I vowed from day one that this would be a family friendly place with no curse words, dirty jokes and no name calling. I'm quite proud that the members of this forum for what they have done. The mods and I are just caretakers. The members here ARE THE FORUM.We established those rules on day one and have done our very best to enforce them. Do we catch them all? Nope. The mods and I have another life besides here. There is no way we can read every post and try to determine what the author meant and if it crossed the line. There is a report method here. If you see something you think violates one of our rules report it. We will get to it. We ask every new member to read the rules and if one cant agree to abide by them then please do not register. The rules are at - hunt-indiana.com/board/55/read-before-registering Our motto is - "Be nice or be gone"We give every member every opportunity that we can before we drop the ban hammer. That is something we do not take lightly. This "Attention" post sums that up pretty well... hunt-indiana.com/thread/1/attentionCarry on, but do it civilly... WW

My favorite part is the difference in people there are those who know their stuff and then there are those that don't but think they do

This is the only social site that I felt conformable to put a post out on my death experience. I hope it stays that way. Some might have noticed that I've been more and more open to my beliefs. Thanks everyone for putting up with me. Not one negative comment to date about my spirituality. What a fantastic group of women, men and children. WW, you do a wonderful job. Now, back to great site for more reading and adding 2 cents.

One more thing...
I started this site as a labor of love of hunting and talking hunting.. It was never meant to be a money making project and it hasn't been and never will be.
I've been told that a certain individual (who for some reason wants to keep on bad mouthing me) has posted an online video accusing me of making money on the site and "has the tax records to prove it."
The real record..
1) It costs me about $150 a year out of my pocket to run this site.
2) The ads that you see here are ads of members here, friends of mine or sites that I think are of interest to the members. NONE of them pay one single dime to me. If one doesn't believe me just contact any or all of the owners of the ads here and ask. ProBoards does run a few Google ads here but that money goes to them not to me. That is how they provide free forums.
Now, I will cut the poster s little slack for one reason. His research is flawed. At one time the url for this site was HuntingIndiana.com (no dash) . About 5 years ago I messed up and did not have an automatic renewal and I lost that name. Since the site drew quite a few hits a day a speculator bought it up. I think I saw once where he was offering the name for sale for $10,000. Wow!
Just do a whosis look up and see who owns it now. Hint, It ain't me folks.
For the last 5 or so years this site has been Hunt-Indiana.com (with a dash). I can guarantee you there are no tax records here as there has never been and never will be a profit turned.
BTW - I was once offered $10,000 for the site and I turned it down because the people that wanted to buy was going to turn it into a pay for view and ad site. That goes against everything I started this site for.
Just clearing the air again...

So, my question is will Tim Moore make sure that the poster of the video sees this and will he make a retraction and offer an apology? What are the odds?
