The harvest numbers are pretty much of no importance as long as Indiana is not going to make any changes to the season/regs.

When "wildlife watchers" start to contribute as much to the conservation and management of game animals as hunters do, then I will care about their opinion.
I had a discussion with a couple of bird watchers in muscatatuck several years ago after they asked if I was going to shoot those deer crossing the trail ahead of me with them there. I said no, they're too far. Then my buddy in the woods dropped the 10 pt and I just laughed, I guess they were closer to him.

I used to sit in a couple of my stands and wish I could use my .270. Now that it is a real possibility, it doesn't much appeal to me.
Looking back 20 or so years, I can only think of a buck or 2 that would have been within a comfortable range if I had a rifle.

I had to chuckle when I was entering walmart the other day and there was a fairly large woman leaving the store with what looked like a .38 on her side. It looked like the holster was attached to an innertube and the top half of the pistol was concealed by some extra weight, being as polite as possible, hanging over the gun.
I chuckled because it was pretty obvious she was doing it "because she could" and if an actual need for the handgun arose, it would be over before she moved everything out of the way to get her pistol out.

Yes. Anytime you were not in the stand and until you were at least 12' high.

I was in Alabama a few years ago and you were not required to wear orange as long as you were elevated 12'+
I would like to see that in Indiana, at least on private ground, but know it will never happen.

Place to the east of me sold. I have fields west and north of their property. The back edge of their property comes 20 feet short of hitting my field. They put a deer stand up just about on the line. I think it is just over on their side. Thing is, the only unobstructed view they have is on my field. And did I mention my deer stand is 15 feet away and between their stand and and my field? So you're mad that their stand just over the property line is going to mess up your stand just over the property line? Or am I missing something. Let me guess, their woods holds the deer and they feed in your field in the evenings?

Woody, how many of those hogs in Warrick County you reckon the DNR took out? Sounds like you guys hit 'em hard and fast, before they could become well established. If it were illegal to shoot one, I'd bet they'd still be running around those areas. It was 6-8 years after they were first reported that I saw the first one. There were several shot, but I would bet more were trapped or caught with dogs and relocated. I miss them.

My little ones. Her mom's not really happy that she thinks it's hilarious when she farts and has to tell everyone.

I've heard that it will only be certain counties or just the southern part of the state.

I was invited to Nebraska to either archery hunt in September or muzzleloader hunt in December. Ran it by my wife and I'm not sure she's gonna go for either. Then don't take her. Yeah, she wasn't invited. Turkey hunted out there this spring and going back next spring and working on getting back to Canada next summer fishing. That's 8000 miles of driving, so I'm gonna have to cut something out.

Wasn't the guy that filmed this a member here? I remember him posting it somewhere and telling the story.

We've been paying $55 or so (the minimum) since we moved into our house 2 years ago. Without sewer.
A new company took it over and it's now in the $35 range.

Actually, if the ATF post is taken word for word, it really doesn't say anything without going in more detail and explaining when "generally" applies.

I have an 880 and it takes a lot of good pictures....a lot. Not sure if it's an issue with the camera or movement in the field that I can't see on the pictures, because I haven't tested it.
I have a several year old Scoutguard that is my favorite. One of the first "mini" cams and the first to use the boly media board. I would recommend them or Covert cams.
I have never had a cuddeback, but have heard others who have had issues with them recently and I have owned several primos cams and will never use another one.

The number of users will be less when Indiana legalizes all rifle cartridges.
