Hi all, I'm currently out scouting the turkey woods. First trail camera is set. Hoping to get a few pics with the Nikon as well.

Second camera is set, one cedar trimmed around and a pic of a nosey squirrel and 2 lone hens.

Camera 3 is set and another tree trimmed around. I think this will be by napping spot! Tucked nicely away in the shade

I hunted Eastern KY over the weekend and it was slow slow slow. Folks there were shocked at the action!
Hope this is not what's in store for INDIANA.

When the state of Indiana began planting turkeys years ago my neighbors property was a location that some were distributed and for years we have enjoyed their calling and the hunting, until this year.
I have not been able to locate a single bird for miles in any direction.

I did see a hen today. I was really happy to see her. She's the first that I've seen real time this year on my plot. She was in the tall grass bug chasing.
Oh, one little ugly buck is still sporting one side of his rack. The ugly side fell off.

We went up and popped up a couple blinds for the opener. We saw 13 deer with 3 being on our food plot. Also saw 10 turkeys in the fields.. These tracks are where we parked..  |
