I just got off Facebook. The Indiana deer herd is currently 7. Hopefully one didn't walk out in front of a car last night.

I have had several pair of Hytest that have been comfortable and don't weight a ton. I have one pair right now that I wear a lot of times steel toe is not required. They don't even feel like "work boots" and they are waterproof.

I had a neighbor sit across the property line on a drive and read a book, her husband put out salt blocks across the property line (while I was sitting in a tree 50 yards away), walk down the fence and ask who I was hunting on and who gave me permission (then called the state police and thought I was a fugitive they had been looking for at the time) and just walk across the field (which they didn't own) to make sure I wasn't hunting on them.
They are no longer owners of the property. The new people just drive up and down the lane when they see someone turkey hunting during youth season (obviously a youth) until the guy that had my son decides to just leave.
I usually wish no ill will on anyone, but there are exceptions.

I have hunting friends around Tampa and Orlando that are more like family. They are all staying. Two of them went to different houses, because they didn't trust the one they live in and 4 of them are staying at their house.

What I read did say it was the west side store in Evansville. The west side store says the picture wasn't taken there.

I have 2 openings on an established lease in Gibson county. Your kids wouldn't count towards the number of hunters as they are required to be in your presence while on the lease thus only taking up 1 spot. 750 acres of river bottom ground on the Wabash and Patoka river. Price is $800 per lease holder per year. My number is 5026824397. How many hunters will be on the lease total?

“We’re working to develop an online system in which all hunters can give us feedback each year, and do so immediately after their hunting season is over,” Caudell said.
That's interesting.

Wild game innovations stuff will probably all be on sale. Won't find me spending a penny on their stuff after the Busbice incident. Wish everyone would follow suit. I agree what Busbice did was totally unacceptable, but boycotting his products could also hurt a lot of people employed by that company. Do they employ anyone in the US or just in China?

I like to be optimistic but Alcoa showed their true colors. They will close it again. Could be true. I'd say it will close again at some point. May be 5 years. May be 25. Since the management that closed it now works for a different company that is a competitor of ALCOA, I'd say there was a reason that they closed it before they left ALCOA and went to Arconic.

Jobs are always good, but has anybody heard the wage scale and benefits package? This was kind of what I was wondering. And Are they non union? It is a union plant and most of these jobs are $50-60,000/yr before overtime. You can make double that. Insurance is good an I think it's $32/wk or around there.

Always good to hear when even a portion of jobs lost are brought back Many of the people that had their job done away with took a "quit package" meaning they no longer chose to be employees and will not get their job back. I would say all that were laid off that want to c9me back will be back.

I wish they would give these out to the rural mail carriers. The data I read in the past from Nebraska was interesting and a lot of areas covered.

Not sure about them being blurred out, but I know if you look up my neighbors house there is a doe and fawn walking away from the road.
Thought that was pretty cool.

I put less weight on the line and everything seems fine. I'm gonna try to fish before work tomorrow morning so we'll see how it goes. When you're getting used to a baitcaster it helps to leave a little extra line out and kind of "swing" or "lob" the lure out. For lack of better words to explain it. Let the weight of the lure get it out there and not the power coming off the cast. As you get used to it you can shorten the swing and make it more of a cast. If any of that makes any sense.

Maybe that is what the problem with mine is. I use spider wire and no matter what I do it still doesn't cast out all that far. I will definitely look into switching mine out. Thanks for the info. I've never been a fan of Spiderwire. I do run PowerPro on a rod that I throw a Carolina rig on and like it.
