1982 KY Law School grad. I couldn't care less who wins. The best team got fouled out by the refs. So be it. I am not saying life or basketball is fair. Still sucks.

All you need is a Muller choke tube and you're good to go... Hey, B&C Talk about those Muller chokes. Been doing some reading and would like to get a Master Class shooter's take on them. Thanks for the reference. I had never heard of them. Been a Jeb's/Indian Creek and Briley user. For my sporting clays gun( Beretta 686) I have always used Beretta chokes. Will appreciate your input.

The first article I read after Gander filed Bankruptcy was from a Waco, TX newspaper. In the article were some comments from a commercial real estate broker mostly about whether the building Gander occupied (and was closing in Waco) was a viable property to sell. But he made the most interesting comment which echoed what I said in another thread here on the Gander Bankruptcy. Basically, that he never saw many people in the store whenever he went in to shop and could never find a helpful salesperson. A business plan for a disaster......... And then the unbridled expansion and prior to that the sale of their mail order business to Cabela's with a multi year non compete. Someone in management is asleep at the wheel. Probably more than one

New in the package. Four broad heads. $30 shipped. I changed arrows to the 4mm Easton FMJ with the special inserts. These don't work with those arrows

Vest arrived today. It is outstanding. Really pleased with it. The back is built with the same padding as a good backpack. I am real fortunate and thankful for the heads up. Can't beat the value at my price of $65.04 plus shipping. Thanks again Andy

Haven't had to use it for years but don't recall it being expensive. Applied it using a walk behind spreader. As I said, it has been years. Just checked the price. 20 lbs at WM is $15 Didn't say expensive. One bag should do a 1/5 acre lot +/- at recommended coverage. That is a lot of Sevin when usually bought by the can! LOL! I guess the moral of the story is don't buy it by the can.

That would be a lot of Sevin to treat a yard. We have neighborhood cats that roam. I use Sevin in the dog house along with cedar chips and we never have problems with the dogs getting fleas. I read this article when the F&S newest mag came out. Took it to my local Pro Shop owner who now has three new bows in inventory. THREE! He is reducing his rented space from 600 sq ft to probably 300 sq ft. These guys are dying a slow death. Even the Hamilton county owned Koteewi 4,000 square feet pro shop has dialed back to winter hours. Imagine how deep those pockets are. It is very sad to me. Buying a good compound bow is a challenge regardless of your knowledge and it is a lot harder now without spending way too much. In another thread I complained about my most recent compound bow purchase. Part my fault, part the dying Pro Shop. Real sad to me. Enough said.

I'm in the market for a new bow recently shot the PSE Evolve and really liked it, but I've heard some negative things about PSE over the years so I'm a little leary of laying down $1,000 for a new bow - especially it's first year on the market. There aren't many PSE dealers in my area. Anyone shooting this bow or heard anything about it? I've also shot the Mathews Halon and like it. Lots of Mathews dealers around me so I'm thinking it would be easier to have serviced & maintained. Open to all suggestions. Thanks. Gill, I started with a PSE Surge RTH package three years ago. Mainline series not Proline series. Served me well. I upgraded the sights and stabilizer and replaced the strings and cables with Mathews Zebra. Removed the tube peep for a trio peep. Life was good and I shot accurately. Then the dumb bug bit. I "upgraded" to the PSE Drive R which is the entry level Proline series. The cam setup (which is not the new Evolve) is terrible. I had to drop 7 lbs of draw weight to comfortably draw the bow. Let me put this in perspective. I work out over 7 hours per week and half of my weight training is archery specific. I also shoot my bow at least 4 times per week in a range I set up in one of my barns for winter practice. Buy the Mathews. PSE gives up smooth draw for speed. I made a mistake that I won't make again. I am finished with PSE. I wouldn't sell this bow to an enemy. I know this doesn't directly answer your question. Still buy the Mathews. Wish I had

I have one for my .223/.204 rifles. Yankee Hill Machine titanium model. Brings the shot report down to a .22 level. Anyone that calls them a "silencer" is either an idiot, liberal, a member of the press or all of the above. All of them watch way too much junk TV "action" shows.

Here is how much I enjoy hunting with Shane and his great dogs. It is a 2.5 hour drive from my place to Glendale FWA where we run his dogs. I roll out of bed at 4:30 AM and hit the road at 6:00 AM. We start "hunting" around 8:30 and I usually am on my way home around 12:30. Five hours round trip is well worth it for the quality of the company both two legged and four legged. I made the trip six out of eight Saturdays. Missed one due to rain and can't recall the reason for the other miss. Over all that "hunting" I shot at and killed two rabbits. Watching the dogs is more fun than killing rabbits. Every Saturday was a lesson for me and a darn good one. I became a better hunter because of the experience. His lemon pup, Bo is a leader. The upside for that pup is huge! The two year old, Stryker, is the same. Rusty is one of my favorites and a darn good looking dog. He has his own mind occasionally about things but always joins right back up after a look around. Buster, Oscar and Missy play solid supporting roles. Missy is also one of my favorites. As I mentioned in another thread my 16 year old grandson got his first rabbit on one of the hunts. He was using a H&R Pardner .410 I gave him when he was eleven (not even close to still fitting him). A testimony to how good the dogs are at putting the rabbit back on the hunter. I could go on and on, but I'll stop here. Suffice to say though I'll run dogs with Shane even though the season has ended. Thanks Shane.

Went last year. Going again tomorrow. Downtown Indy is a zoo. Last year when we got out of the truck in the fairgrounds parking lot we heard gun shots and screaming from the adjacent neighborhood. 38th street at its finest.....
