Always my pleasure. Love to take new guys out and show them what my passion is all about. Tried to get him into position to shoot more but sometimes them rabbits just don't cooperate. Not 100% sure on the compliment on the quality or knowledge but I appreciate it. We had some tough running conditions but they brought it together the last jump. Stryker and me are going to have to come to some agreement on his check work, not going to have that. We ran 'our' spot after you left. Jumped one and brought it back. Rabbit ran to us and checked up and cut to the left. Bo leading and Stryker slotting. Bo checked up where the rabbit did and Stryker continued on about 15 yards. Brought the fear of the Lord into him and he promised to amend his ways. He is just way to competitive. More than likely going to ship him to a conditioning pen to run that out of him. You should have been out with us today. First have a terrible chest cold, didn't want to go but Josh wanted to run his lemon female with some of my slower dogs. We ran just under 5 miles in 4 hours. The pain was excruciating watching them slowly WALK the line out. Pretty sure Josh is set on a faster dog now. We did get his female out front and she did keep it but it was rough. Made sure he knew that it's nice to see your dog in front but if they are ALL the breakdowns are their fault. You guys are more than welcome any time. Really appreciate the friendship and I can see your true love of running those dogs. It's rare to find someone that doesn't own hounds.that does it for the love of the sound and not the kill. I love to eat rabbit, but really enjoy when the dogs make a great track. I won't shoot unless they bring it full circle. Sometimes it takes two circles if the rabbit is lucky and spots us before getting in an opening. Also we never shoot all we run. Leave some for seed!! 100% agree on the won't shoot comment. Time before last I was standing next to a tree and a rabbit comes out of cover and takes a rest. Dogs weren't on him and he got a pass. Could have clubbed with my butt stock he was so close. Then was walking a trail and one hopped out of cover on to the trail. Dogs weren't on him. Another pass

I know I am very fortunate when I get to rabbit hunt with one of the top guys in the state in terms of knowledge and quality of dogs. Today I hunted with Shane (as I do most weekends) and brought along my 16 year old grandson. Tough, dry, warm conditions. His dogs were incredible. Long story short, my grandson got his first rabbit. Dogs ran over 9 miles in under 4 hours. They have no quit in them. Zero! Thank you Shane. You are a good man with great dogs.

Low Boy design. 79" wide to the metal. 240" long to the 20" dovetail. Dual Axle GVWR/PNBV : 14,000 pounds Electric brakes and break away safety. Floor is in good condition. Exterior has minor rust. Overall a solid trailer. Tires: ST235/80/R16. 80 PSI. Good tread. New spare never been on the ground. Loading ramps store under the left side. Stabilizers for when loading. Storage area under the gooseneck. One of the lids is off. I have it though. $2500. Glad to send pictures
I edited the title of the ad to reflect the correct year of the trailer. It is a 2008, not 2007. I got the title out of my safe and realized my error.
Edit to further add: Just hooked up to the trailer. Both rear turn signal lights work.
There are 15 running lights. One in the front, one on the right side and one in the back are out. The one in the front is blocked by your truck when the trailer is hooked up. All are easily accessed.

Their business model, at least in my experience is way too few trained salespersons. The one nearest me is in Castleton, north Indy mega mall. The Google reviews of the store are all the same: Rude or invisible sales help. Two stars, pretty poor. Good riddance. The Cabela's store in Noblesville has got to be killing their business. Lots of trained polite sales help there. Comparable prices

I just bought my grandson's youth license online for 2017-18. I may be mistaken, but I think that you have to be 18 for a reserved hunt. That may be for deer only. Not sure. There is a youth hunt at Muscatatuck that I applied for on behalf of my grandson. I will accompany him if he is drawn So a parent has to put in for the youth then? Not for a youth hunt. Pretty sure you can do that yourself. When I mentioned having to be 18 to apply for a reserved hunt I was referring to a non youth hunt. Edit to add: I applied on his behalf simply because I knew it would get done. (LOL) There is a feature on the DNR site that allows an adult to "associate" with a youth so as to be able to apply for things on their behalf

It won't let me put in for reserved turkey hunts, is it because I have a youth license? Ok it says youth license is acceptable 2017-2018. Can I pre order that youth license to put in for a draw? Thinking about applying for a reserved hunt or otherwise trying out public land for a turkey this year. I am located in Hamilton Co. Was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on properties. Willing to get out and do my best at scouting (i.e. not asking for honey-holes). I just want to make sure I'm not applying for worthless props or am not driving to properties with minimal population levels/chance of success. As a first-timer, fully prepared for trials and tribulations: after all, the constant failing is exactly why I love hunting so much. I am addicted to failing and trying again. Thoughts? PS: I should also mention that if anyone feels convicted to help me get my first turkey on other land (or otherwise), I am more than happy to pay you back in the form of labor, meat, whatever you need. I am also in Hamilton county. My go to place is Winimac FWA. Takes about 1.5 hours to get there. There are a lot of turkeys on that property. The property managers do controlled burns, hinge cuts, plant crops and have great access trails. Hunted it 5 days last year. Two with my grandson on a drawn youth hunt and three on a drawn hunt alone. Talked to turkeys all day. They were henned up so none taken. Have already applied for this year's drawn hunt. Also a good deer property. I have scouted it extensively and am glad to give you some starting points

Just wondering, does anyone use the OnX hunt app? Or have had any luck with this app? I have it and use it. In my experience it is a good tool to have and versatile

My grandson's first gun I bought for him is a Walther P22. Nice semi auto pistol. Lives in my safe. We still get it out for fun 5 years later. Adjustable sights. Decent trigger. It will make your price point

Picked up a new Shimano Sedona today. I'll probably spool it up with 6# line, tie on a practice plug, and play with it until the wife is totally irritated with me. What else is a body to do on a cold, rainy, between-season day like today?? Most of my reels are Shimano. Great choice! Never have a problem

Bergdahl. Yep that is the traitor's name. Bowe Bergdahl. He is also asking for a pardon. Odds are he gets it. Another insult to our country and the principles upon which it was built.

When Dick Bloomberg (not Richard) calls Obama the most self important person he has ever met after a round of golf that is pretty telling, pot calling the kettle black aside.

He's not done yet, news just said more to come Thursday. Not surprised. Who was the guy that went AWOL in Afghanistan? Can't remember his name. Bet he is next. This is so predictable.

Just saw this on Google news. Shows what little, I mean, no respect, that Obama has for this country. He is a narcissistic, self important, anti American president who half of the American electorate was dumb enough to elect twice. And the first president to have taxpayer paid lifetime security protection. Guess he was smart enough in that regard. An embarrassment to this country and its principles. Good riddance. A traitor pardoned??? What should we expect?

I had a Ghost 410. Came in from hunting. Loaded a field point bolt to discharge the bow. String broke. Didn't have on safety glasses but luckily my left eye was closed. Went to the ER to get checked out and then an Opthamologist. It was not a dry fire. They replaced the bow. Guess what? Same thing happened again. Sent it back and they basically replaced all operating parts. By then I was finished with Barnett. Gave the completely new rebuilt bow to an unsuspecting member of this forum and strenuously recommended that he always wear eye protection. Just kidding he knows all the history. He has had no problems. Barnett is pushing the speed envelope beyond their engineering capabilities. Just my thinking
