If my 19 year old grandson lives with me, does he need a deer license to hunt on my property? Thank you.

If I am hunting in Marion county then it is my understanding that I am hunting in a deer reduction zone. Does that mean that I need a deer reduction license and that I have to kill a doe before I can take a buck regardless of the weapon season? Meaning that if it is archery season and I am hunting archery not late season gun.

I will gladly pray for your family and a positive outcome. Hang in there. Children are amazingly resilient.

Arrest Max from Whitetail Institute. I have used it to kill grasses growing in food plots

Congratulations that you like your new bow set up and are shooting it accurately. I know that is a great feeling My thinking is to build a couple of 350's just for the sake of comparison. October is getting closer.

I am starting to think that the earlier comments about not aiming at the same spot may have some validity. I need to try that.....

I agree 100% on the trigger comments regarding ARs. Both of my lowers have JP Enterprises triggers. Not cheap but I probably replaced them 15 years ago and they still do the job. www.jprifles.com/1.4.8.php

I have the Remington V3 and recommend it without hesitation. Soft shooting, reliable and the same gas system as the Versa Max. I have the 28" barrel. It will shoot light to heavy loads with no problems. Max shell length is 3".

Being a baby boomer and age 66 I still hunt. I spent over 120 hours hunting during deer season last season. I have introduced my oldest grandson to hunting as a way to ultimately replace me. He is working with a friend to teach him to hunt. So we have some momemtum. I have two more grandsons coming up. My question is how is the health of hunting incumbent on baby boomers? My answer is that it is incumbent on every hunter. I get it that we are aging but still wonder how it is our fault that hunter numbers are decreasing I just read about a book the premise of which is that baby boomers have stolen the economic and financial future of millennials. I was amazed that a book with such flawed reasoning would get published let alone be newsworthy. My conclusion: us older folks are an easy target albeit the wrong ones

Just heard from a good source that a large farming operation based nearby has 6,000 acres to plant and have planted a whopping 35 acres. Rained again this morning.....

I live in Central IN farm country. 95%+ of the fields have not been planted. Corn and bean prices are moving up as they price in a shortage. In 22 years I have never seen it this wet. Hay prices will skyrocket
