I might tag along a few weekends. Have you considered land between the lakes? It is archery only except the quota hunt. Some agriculture mixed into the hardwoods. I saw lots of sign down there last winter predator hunting.
You can PM me if you want.

Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area (LBL) is a popular hunting spot here. LBL is 170,000 acres of land. About 90% of the land is forest.
LBL has a low Deer population compared with surrounding counties. There are some good Bucks in LBL, but they are scattered over a huge amount of land.
There are crop and pasture fields in LBL, but they revive a lot of hunting pressure. People come to LBL from across the world to hunt velvet Bucks in September, so the fields get a lot of hunting pressure.
If you hunt fields for Velvet Bucks in LBL in September, try to hunt fields that can not be seen from the roads, fields you have to walk to in order to see.

Another important thing to consider is the Non Resident License fees have increased this year in Kentucky.
One place in Kentucky that is a new public hunting area is the Big Rivers Wildlife Management Area. It is located in Union and Crittenden Counties in western Kentucky along the Ohio River. That area offers great hunting.
