I have an occupied house that has had bucks chasing does in the front yard twice since sunday morning.
I imagine an abandon house would be just fine.

State Park hunts have no shows also.... Not sure if every park do no shows.... Call the park and ask According to an article in our paper today, only Fort Harrison, Indiana Dunes and Spring Mill have standby drawings.

There are fields everywhere.
There are houses everywhere.
There are people everywhere and the odds are that neighbor everyone worries about having a HPR is also worried about you having one too.
Someone will get shot. A building will get shot. It is going to happen regardless of when this proposal passes. It is going to probably happen this year without HPR just like it does almost every year. I know what I need to do to keep myself safe and to keep others hunting around me safe. I'm tired of being regulated based on the stupidity of a few.

I heard some grunting in a thicket the other morning, so I grunted back. An 8 pointer got chased out by a much bigger buck and ended up coming right by me. The doe the bigger buck was with was wanting to come down into the woods where I was at too, but the bigger buck kept cutting her off. I'm pretty sure if I had not continued grunting and making the larger buck think there were at least 2 other bucks down in the bottom, him and the doe would have made their way by me eventually. Just another time I should have kept my mouth shut. That is the second time in the last week I grunted at a buck I wanted to shoot and the first time had much more negative results. I'm throwing my grunt call away.

A big 10 has a doe pinned down in a thicket about 100 yards away. He won't let her come my way. He's gotten to 50 yards twice to run 2 different 8 pointers off. One of which was big enough to shoot. Quite the show. Bet he's grunted 150 times this morning. Sounds like a very exciting morning.. An "all dayer" for you? I wish, but probably not. Worked last night and it just started raining. Did have little 2.5 year old 8 just walk under me. We scared each other pretty good.

Our CO's seem to respond and follow up on reports pretty timely and effectively.

Not sure of the product, but I don't buy anything with Tink's name on it.

We watched a couple of nice ones the other night. Nothing serious, but my 5 year old loved it. I let him play with the rattling antler's on the youth hunt and he told me that they sounded just like him.
Good pics, BTW.

I think I was being dropped off at the blind around 12-13 also. At the same time, I was taking the 4 wheeler to the squirrel woods alone to hunt every chance I could also.
The world has changed a lot in the last 25 years though.

Well, I think the cops and other authorities should get involved and toss those people behind bars. Its the internet! People feel like they can say whatever they want without any repurcussions. Personally, if someone threatened the life of my son, I would be knocking on their door or their kneecaps.

I found them on their website. Guess I'll run down there this evening and see if they have any in the store. That is unless 3ptbuck wants to check for me and save me a trip

Woody, do you know if Rural King has replacement seats for their ladder stands, or see them there? I have a 20' single person that the seat is rotten in and need to replace it.

Greyhair - before you try and lump everyone into the same mold its best to make sure they all fit. Personal experience as well as current observations of our educational system form at least three of the opinions here.....ain't got nothing to do with labor unions or politics. "The new rule allows the state board to make case-by-case decisions for those schools’ grades. It can even choose a different grade calculation method." So you have a Republican board and a Democrat superintendent (who they want to get rid of). They pass rules like this that benifit the same schools that donate to their party and you're going to say it is not politically motivated? Did you read the article? It shows more of what's wrong with the public school system besides a few lazy teachers that are far outnumbered by lazy students.

Are the dealers now allowed to sell the Tenpoints and Wicked Ridges that they have in stock?
