I farm and we also do custom tile work. One thing about tile is the farmer is always paying for it wether you have tile put in or not cause if you don't your paying for it in hurt yeilds But a year like we are haveing here in central Indiana and a lot of other places. Tile hasn't been able to keep up when we seem to get big heavy 2-4" rains every week

I run 13 recoynx. People can say what they want about them being to expensive but I have had some for over 6 years and only one has had a problem. Sent it back and they actually work on them instead of grabbing one off the shelf and replacing it. Something went wrong internally and was around 60 bucks to fix. Most cheap cameras I have bought over the years last about a year maybe two before they are junk. Have some of the new cuddebacks also that work pretty good. They are exceptional cams. However I'll break the mold I guess for your experience on "cheap cams". I have many Coverts entering year 5, a few have maybe had 2 months off out of the last 60 months. Mpe5, they don't even make it anymore. I have had prolly 12 scoutgaurds and coverts over the years. Not bashing them they are decent cameras but I only have 2 that still work out of all of them. Waiting to see the reviews on the new cudde system. If they work good be handy way of just going to one camera to check all the cameras that are in the area.

Couldn't do live didn't have service. This bird and his buddy drove me nuts all morning. Finally convinced them to come in and 12:30 put him down. Other one just stood there after he dropped. Came in with another that was pretty much same size. Wish I had a video camera cause they put on a show. 10.5" beard 23 and 28mm spurs

I know a couple companies I tried to get new sections for will not sell just a replacement ladder section. They say it is because they don't want a treestand designed to be a 15ftr and someone buying a extra section and make it a 20ftr.
You can try bigdog treestands. They have a couple different width ladder stands that you could possibly match up if the width and tubing are the same as yours. and they do sell 4 and 5ft sections.

If i had a hilton like you John Id be out lol!
May meed to look into a heater body suit![/quote]
Get one and you'll never look back. Best investment I have made as far as hunting clothes go. Hunted with mid season clothes on under it in January in Illinois when it was -10 out before. Stayed warm and toasty. Nice thing is your not all bulked up with layers and can not move. It was so cold my thin gloves I use were freezing to my bow when I would grab it when deer were around. My glasses will fog up when I unzip it just enough to look down and check my phone.

Does anyone have experience with the new remington ML? If i could scrape up the funds i think it could be an interesting option. I've never shot one but know a guy who has one. I've held it it is a pretty heavy gun. He said it kicked so bad he had to send it to a gun smith/shop and they machined a muzzle break on it. Said it tamed it down some but not a whole lot.

Was out yesterday in Switzerland county and watched a big Tom strutt for a hour and a half with a Jake and a hen out in front of him. They went to the woods once the rain got heavy so I headed home. Went back this morning fog was pretty thick set the blind up in the middle of field with the decoys out. They were gobbling on the roost and couple times once they flew down. Did some light calling and at 7:15 they showed up in the filed. Had him in front of me for 30mins but never could get a shot because either the Jake or the hen would stand infront of him when I was getting ready to shoot. Finally got him 22.5lb 3/4-1" Spurs and 11" beard

Had one that I bought for my wife it but it would not feed very good at all. Tried all kinds of ammo. It was just not one certain brand. I don't like to sell guns but ended up sending it on down the road.

Are the beans along a tree line or the woods. We sometimes have to leave them because they are not ready along tree lines when the rest of the field is ready to cut.

Me and the wife have took ours a few times so far. She had a small buck just look at it and does just starred as usual. I had one out last night also had 19 deer in the field 5 bucks biggest was 120" 10pt and a 110" 8 pt. the 10 was snort wheezing and trying to fight all the other bucks but paid no attention to the decoy. None of the bucks even tried to bumb a doe around either

I usually rinse mine in hot water till they are new looked again and let dry. Usually only do it after season is over and sometimes before I head to my 2 week trip in Illinois in the end of november
