Does anyone know where to buy a replacement ladder for my ladderstand. Some creep tried to steal my stand this past fall, but couldn't get my seat (thats where it was locked with log chain) hate to waste a perfectly good stand, but it's no good if I can't find a ladder

Some creep tried to steal my stand this past fall, but couldn't get my seat (thats where it was locked with log chain) hate to waste a perfectly good stand, but it's no good if I can't find a ladder Once, while hunting on private property (East of Oakland City); I had someone try to steal my ladder stand. Who ever it was didn't get it, but I noticed it was crooked and showed evidence of being tampered with. The reason it wasn't stolen is I drilled holes in the ladder sections and secured them tight with screws & bolts. As for replacement of your ladder portion you might contact the maker and see if they will sell you that portion. If not then you may have to buy a new ladder stand, which are on sale now.

I know a couple companies I tried to get new sections for will not sell just a replacement ladder section. They say it is because they don't want a treestand designed to be a 15ftr and someone buying a extra section and make it a 20ftr.
You can try bigdog treestands. They have a couple different width ladder stands that you could possibly match up if the width and tubing are the same as yours. and they do sell 4 and 5ft sections.

Big Dog will sell you a ladder section, but for the price and shipping, you're probably better off getting a new stand. I checked their website earlier this year - someone stole my ladder too.

I just can't imagine people stealing them. This is terrible. I don't think these types of people would be on a forum like this.

I had it set-up in a woods just across the street from my home in Evansville, Indiana. Now, I place a lock on my stands, even on those set-up on my own property.

I had the same thing happen to me when some jerk ripped off my ladder part of a stand of mine. I'm pretty handy with a mig welder and I had a several old aluminum extension ladders laying around in my way. I welded up a steel bracket and attached it to the stand and made it fit the aluminum ladder. I like it better than the original. It slides down nice and compact to get it to the woods. I would take a picture of how I did it but it is still in the woods as of now. I always keep an eye out for ladders at auctions. If I can get a deal I buy them and turn them into ladder stands, or even just use them as a ladder for my lock on stands. Light and easy to put up. I do give them a coat of flat black paint and some gray stripes to knock the shine down.
