Should be hearing birds already but it's so freaking windy we can't hear the neighbors rooster crowing.

Didn't get to go. Creek was flowing to high and fast for me to attempt this morning with the quad. Storm didn't hit here until 915p last night. Not enough time for the water to recede.

Let's keep this thread going through turkey season...like we did the deer thread ..
I've got all season so I let the "90% rain and thunderstorm" forecast keep me home. Woodmastet is toughing it out as his hunting time is limited...

Didn't hear a gobble this morning before thunderstorm set in. Now sitting in my truck watching a small field waiting on the rain to hopefully move out. Heard at least 3 birds from this spot Saturday. Not sure if stormy weather last night altered their pattern.

Two reports from Woodmaster and John Trout.. Neither one has heard a bird, but Woodmaster had a hen go by him.

Reports from buddies is they heard two gobbles and its been silent ever since. No sightings at all. Believe the storms shook up the birds last night.

I've given-up on Turkey Hunting this year. I've seen far less Turkeys & only heard a few Gobbles this season. Right now it is storming here in Central Kentucky. GOOD LUCK to all you Wild Turkey Hunters.

It's snowing, raining, snowing, cold, windy, snowing and windy. Not a good day to turkey hunt.
Mid-thirty's for a high. Up to 2" of snow and wind gust in the 40 mph range.

I had one on the roost that was hammering all morning. Of course he flew down and went the other direction. Then had a lone hen come in followed next by 3 jakes and a hen. Three coyotes entered while those four were out there. After about 5 minutes the coyotes decided to charge and circle my decoys. Never could get a shot at any of them though. Was interesting that's for sure. Now haven't seen or heard anything in a while.
