It's definitely heart wrenching, irritating, sad, etc. going anywhere and doing any shopping. Everything has gone up the past few years and I have really felt the pinch this last year.
You hear them on the radios stating that "Americans are spending more this Halloween or this Christmas..." And I'm sure they had. But, I'm also betting that they're getting less.

I will say I’m trying these arctic shield boot covers for the first time and they definitely help. Feet aren’t necessarily warm, but they aren’t freezing like usual either. The big boot blankets? I broke mine out for the park hunt and they were the nuts. I've had mine probably over 20yrs, but only used them a few times. Getting tired of carrying out a weeks worth of stuff for a couple hours of use. Getting older tho, definately needing more creature comforts and less jazz. Have either of you looked into the heater body suits? They aren't cheap by no means. I do like the idea and concept though. I do like the Artic Shield slip on boot covers as well. heaterbodysuit.com/?gclid=Cj0KCQiA4NWrBhD-ARIsAFCKwWtYgde_enVczp49rpdstt-QgV_vtj8sX_iTxeSvlmDMoYaVxWyLC8EaAnNcEALw_wcB

And yes, we do have prayer. But, after Jesus was crucified , in John 14:16&18 Jesus does tell them all that He will pray to the Father to send them a Comforter and that He would not leave them (us) comfortless.
Another reason I believe that man's sin filled hearts and the destruction of mankind in the days of Noah were not part of an original plan was because in Genesis 6:6 God felt repentance for making mankind. Had all this been part of an original plan, why the need for repentance?
I know that I know very little in the grand scheme of things pertaining religion and God's plans and purposes for us and the world. Or why He did what He did and still does what He does. And although I believe that God does in fact know all things and that He does have a plan for each and every one of our lives, He still allows us the freedom to choose. Therefore, I really do believe that God hopes that we'll choose Him.
I know He doesn't need us but, I truly believe that He does want us.

To add a little more context, and to reveal my side of the debate, she was stating that from the very beginning of time, God knew he would have to sacrifice Jesus. My view on her opinion was that she was stating that God created a world to fail. My argument was that I have have always felt that God had hope in Adam and Eve to do the right thing, make the right choices. I still feel the God has hope that we'll all choose Him. I think that's why we have the freedom of choice and why He doesn't force us to worship Him. I feel that He hopes that we will. I don't feel that God created a failed system, intentionally. I think the man's wicked ways have lead us to the failure and that it was not by His design.
The debate went on for a while. It wasn't heated or anything. But, it raised questions within us both.

Last night, my mother in law and I got into a debate. It started over what I thought was a simple statement that turned into a question that had captured my attention the remainder of the evening and and the first thing on my mind this morning. And, to be quite honest, if you really dig into the question and explore all the avenues and possibilities, I think it's a question that can be difficult to answer. Obviously, her and I disagree on this, and I won't state yet which side I'm leaning on. But, the question is, does God hope?
Our debate yielded great points, battling scripture with scripture and our own personal reflections.

Well, zero'd my ML, cleaned said muzzleloader and I always leave the breech plug out of the ML until I'm taking it into the field or to the range. I was just rounding up my things for a Sunday afternoon hunt and, wouldn't ya know, I cannot find the doggone breech plug! I'm really getting concerned that I accidentally pitched it. And searching the trash would be useless since the trash was picked up today. UGH!!!!! Just start looking for something else and you will find it ! Why did I put that there ? YEAH BUDDY!!! FOUND IT!

A family member inherited some interesting coins. Included in that was a bag of $100 gold pesos. Various date ranges on the coins. His brother thought they were just tokens for something and not real. But, they feel very real to me.

Looking online for coin values is a lot like getting on a hunting thread and asking which broadheads are best. Such a wide array of answers, opinions and rating methods.
Does anyone on here have a good contact for getting some coins appraised?

Hope you come up with something to get you back out there! I'm ready for a success story. I know, right! In all my years and with all the different ML I have had, I've never done this before. I gotta find it or, back to archery for me.

Anyone else deal with this nonsense? Lol!
It seems every fall I get an allergy flare up in my left eye. It normally hits me late October to mid November. I use alaway eye drops for most of the year to help keep it away and has helped me not to get affected the last two years. December rolled around and I have no issues so I abandoned the drops. Wrong move! Laid down last night and my eye was watery and itchy. Woke up this morning to it almost swollen shut, gushing fluids, pink as all get out and extremely light sensitive.
The prescription steroid eyes drops I had used are expired so, time to use the teledoc and get it renewed. Hopefully he/she won't make me go to the eye Dr first. No eye insurance on my end. The very first time I encountered this I had to go to my eye Dr and he stuck me with an "emergency appointment" surcharge. Rightfully so I guess.

I cannot speak for TideWe's heated vest but, their chest waders have held up remarkably well with the torture I put them through on my ditch and river adventures.
