Seems weird not getting up early and heading out to chase a gobbler. Slept in, made some pancakes and home fries, coffe and relaxing.

Maybe the deer license fee increases are an April Fools joke also?

If you get a chance listen to their song Granddaddy's Fiddle ! That’s one of their best.

You have plenty of room. I can touch all three of mine and not have to move. Lol

I agree. All my rods have them and no more broken tips or guides.

I ordered some ammo from Natchez and received the shipping info. If I click on the shipping number itself it takes me to the DHL site. If I click on the “click here” to check on shipping it takes me to FedEx. This does not give me a good feeling!

Ours are QuickVue from Quidel Corporation which with the only thing I can find on the box is worse than from China, it says from California!

Anyone get their “free” test kits ? My wife said we got ours just the other day but I forgot to look to see where they were made. I will do that today and report back.

Cameras actually save deer also… some will hold out for certain deer when knowing they are in the area! This was definitely the case this year with my son. He had several shooter bucks in range but was holding off for a bigger one we had on camera. Ended the season buckless.

Why do you fry the goose sausage first? Does the raw sausage crush when vac sealing? It all looks great by the way. I pre-fry them so that I don't need to hassle with that when I am ready to use them. Just heat and serve. That makes sense. Thanks.

Keep using it. It will still kill deer and still needed on public land. I am sure you can find someone with brass and who will reload some for you.

Some say a longer barrel is better because of the longer sight plain when swinging on flying birds but I have never seen a difference. Go with the 26” in my opinion.

Well I tried buckbuster13’s thin sliced roast beef (deer) and featherduster’s fish pot pie this weekend and both were great. I will admit I was hesitant on the fish pot pie but it was very good. Something different that is for sure. Both will happen again in the dinner rotations. Thanks guys for the ideas.
