Doing fine. Thanks for the kind thoughts.l
Looks like we had a 30 cm tsunami here. The sea walls are 15-20 feet tall, so everything was fine here.
Kadena is sending folks to help with the recovery efforts. Keep them in your thoughts and prayers because I'm sure the things they are about to see and experience cannot be unseen.
Japan Self Defense Forces has 100,000 personnel on the ground up there now and reports are that they are completely overwhelmed. The first 5 helos we sent are there now, helping with the rescue/recovery effort.

"Friable" is EPA's definition on how easily a building material actually releases the asbestos fibers into the air where they can be inhaled. Friability is described in terms of being crushed or pulverized by "hand pressure". Building materials such as floor tiles, gaskets, mastics and glues, roofing are all considered NON-friable when they are in good condition. In other words they do not release fibers easily. The "cement board" siding on a lot of homes is called transite. They also made water pipe and air duct out of the same materials. Also Non friable when in good condition. Building materials like pipe, and boiler insulation, fire proofing, ceiling tiles, plaster decorative coatings are considered friable, and easily release asbestos fibers when they are disturbed. The pipe wrap seen in the clip was friable. I've been in the remediation business almost 25 years.......... Thanks for the explanation. I was just asking Duff if it was in a friable form. He is an environmental professional like myself, I guess we have another on board the site... Welcome welcome.

I love Triumphs, with Toaster Tanks being a close second. I WILL own one of both one of these days. I guess I just like bikes with character.
My dream I guess is to put around town on them when we move back to the states. I have a Saturday morning lap that starts at about 0530 and includes the finest flea market, breakfast joint, and gun shop in my area. A Bonneville or a Toastie would suit me just fine. They turn my head every time I see one. WANT. BAD.
ETA: My buddy inherited his father's Norton 750 Commando. It's almost as sexy as a Bonneville.

One huge thing at my school is pills. Sometimes you'll see a kid pay 20 dollars for 2 oxicotin. I prefer to spend my hard earned money on rounds of trap and skeet. And girl scout cookies Another big thing with teenage drug abuse is "skittles". Kids will bring a bunch of "unknown" medicaton from home and everyone dump it in a big bowl and take whatever you grab. REAL smart It's all fun and games until someone dumps Lomotil into the bowl.

We use Cloth diapers for the night time diaper Lyman. They are the newer style, not the old fashioned ones. The rest of the time we use disposable.
I had high blood pressure until I stared training Judo. I'm down 70 lbs since we moved to Okinawa and all the cardio blasted my blood pressure back down to normal.

Rich O's Public House (beer list and upside down pizza are both phenomenal)
Charlestown Pizza Company (fantastic beer list for a small town, and great hand tossed)
96th Street Burger (Indy, just drive up and down 96th until you find it)
Portillo's (There is on on 30 now in Merrillville I think)
Puerto Vallarta (multiple locations Muncie, Jeffersonville, New Albany)
Come Back Inn (Jeffersonville)
Willie D's (Scottsburg) Great breakfast hole, and Lunch sandwiches
I make my own Goetta. It is quite easy to make. It is a great place to put your venison trim if you butcher your own deer.

New Albanian Brewing Company, and Upland make some fine craft brews. I would love to see Indiana brews showcased at the ISF.
If you haven't been to the New Albanian Brewing Company, you haven't had good pizza.

Whats the over under on it being recalled?
I love my Rugers, but it seems like they are releasing things too early and having it bite them down the road.

Environmental Protection Specialist. Many hats are worn under that name.
Mostly I try to educate Marines enough to keep themselves out of hot water with the Government of Japan. Not always easy. I also get to respond to hazmat/hazwaste spills so that is kind of interesting.

I'm not sure you could "frankenstein" some rifles together for what a department could get K.I.S.S. rifles for with a LEO discount. Kiesler's in Jeffersonville pretty well panders to police departments. So much so that mere mortals are practically see through when they walk in.

I don't know if it was my best, but certainly the most memorable...
My friend had gotten permission on a shallow water hole in a cow pasture for us to duck hunt. The ducks had been all over it, so we were excited. Two drake mallards came screaming in from left to right, right over the decoys.
My friend and I were shoulder to shoulder, mounted our guns and shot at exactly the same time. The two greenheads both folded at the exact same second.
