Caught quite a few crappie recently and looking for different ideas. I don't particularly like the soft texture, so thought that I might try some patties. Any recipes that you'd like to share?

That's about all that I use for crappie. Usually with a 1/16 or 1/32 jig. Red/white, pink/white, or chartreuse with black or red seem to work best for me; although I do have a variety of other colors that I'll try at times.
I often fish them suspended under a float. If water is choppy that will often create enough action to trigger strikes while reeling s-l-o-w-l-y.

Planning on hitting Westwood, just out of New Castle, this afternoon. Gonna be bank fishing. Hopefully, a few gills or crappies, will be cruising the shallows.

Buddy of mine, back in the early 60s, had the Marty Robbins album "Gunfighter Ballads". This song was on it. we listened to it a bunch. Thanks for the memory.

We always try to hit it early in the day. Seems that most of the wal-martians sleep in til 10 or so.

My wife was talking with a lady who said that it is saving her a lot. The actual shipping is through USPS or UPS, but, somehow, at a discounted rate.
I'm going to take a closer look at it.

The Carter catastrophe brought us Reagan. Perhaps the Biden debacle will have like results. (But don't hold your breath).

We went with a ROKU couple of years ago and like it. We added Philo for $20 a month, small outdoor antenna gets us Indianapolis channels. Pretty well gets us all we want.

I've owned a few over the years. My personal favorite was a browning buckmark. Just seemed to to fit my hand very well.

A junk yard in the New Castle area advertises that they pay top dollar for cat converters. Seems like an invite to the low lifes to bring their goods in for cash.
