I am a sucker for good testing you tube videos. I watch a real need of a guy Project Farm. He tests all kinds of thing. Name brand to econo versions. He is very detailed. This test would have been a good one for him. I've watched several of his vids. He is pretty thorough.

In every scene where a car pulls up and stops, the brakes squeak. Apparently every car in the movies and TV needs brake work... Or how every car squeals the tires when it takes off or turns. I was watching a movie yesterday and an old Ford taurus was taking off at an average speed with a nice tire squeal sound. The wife & I were laughing awhile back while watching an old Hawaii 5-0 show. There was a chase on dirt & gravel roads with more tire squealing than you hear in a street drag race.

I've made several transactions through this site and have never had any problems.

In the late 80s (a long time ago), I had several such misfires with Federal ammo in my .243. Hopefully, they'll get to the bottom of the problem.

I'll keep my case trimmer for the .35 Rem. But sure wish that I didn't have to.

Y'all reckon that the rifle rules for public & private land will ever be made the same?

Several years back I bought a piece of dense foam from Joann's Fabric and the wife stitched up a cover for it. I've gotten a lot of good use from it and not much money in it.

I make some pretty good gingersnap cookies. I really like 'em with apple cider.

Got my new Henry side-gate 44 mag carbine yesterday and shot it a little this morning. With open sights and these 74 year old eyeballs I shot a mixture of jacketed and cast into roughly 3" at 50 yards. I could see the rear sight ok but the front bead was somewhat of a fuzz ball- and the target was more than a little blurry!
I'm sure that an optic will cut the group in half. I think I'm gonna like it a lot.

My recent experience with Rossi.
Several years ago I picked up a new 44 mag Rossi lever rifle. It proved to be pretty much a "project gun" from the git go. I've read on different forums of the tendency of their forearm screws breaking- and, sure enough, I had it happen recently while shooting. The forearm screw, as well as the barrel/magazine band screw, both broke.
Contacted Customer Service (ha ha), the forearm screw I can get IF I buy the band with it; the barrel/mag band screw is something that they want me to send rifle in for replacement at a minimum gunsmith rate of $50.
Thought that I would pass this along just in case you are considering a purchase. To be fair- many people have owned these rifle without any such hassles, but, as for me, I'm through with 'em.
Got me a new Henry on the way. My experience with them has been great.

I just checked. I was selected for Summit Lake early hunt. After all the years of "not selected" I was a little shocked!

I thought that their usual roosting spot was in Washington DC.
Well, somebody had to say it!

I saw that today. Wonder if it will have flame cutting issues like the 357 maxi revolvers had.

Aardvark are slightly more numerous at Pulaski fwa than rabbits. The aardvark population is nearly on par with that of the grey and fox squirrel. I expect Indiana DNR will soon offer the aardvark tag and habitat stamp. Makes my lifetime license even MORE of a bargain!

Aardvarks are all but extinct on public lands. That's why the ant problem has gotten totally out of hand!
Adds nothing to this thread, but at least I got it off my chest!

I gotta ask, why'd you shoot the guy? LOL " When Pyrodex came out a year or 2 after one of DuPont's explosions and a guy we shot got a sample to try." I did a double take on that. Look forward to the rest of the story.

Sen. Mike Lee said this: "We received the bill text, just moments before we were expected to vote on it. It ended up getting an overwhelming vote, because basically all of Democrats and ten or 15 Republicans voted for it. This is stunning to me. This is not how the Senate is supposed to operate," he added.
Really disappointed in Todd Young.

What other ingredients did you mix with the fish? Panko, seasoned bread crumbs or ground up saltine crackers, Mayo, green pepper, green onion, egg to bind it together. Appreciate your response. I'll probably experiment a little. If I come up with a winning combo I'll post it!!

I used to take Norther Pike and grind up the fillets with the Y-BONES in them. Then I would make patties and fry them. What other ingredients did you mix with the fish?
