Has anyone tried the new Remington ammo? I am seeing more of it in the stores and online. I had quit using the old stuff due to quality problems. My LCP did not like it. I had to double strike 30-30 and 35 Rem. when I had no problems with other brand ammo in the guns and range session.
Right now the only factory is shot in my guns is 9mm, .380, and shotguns.

Funny you say this! My boss had 2 misfires on opening weekend with new 25/06 Rem ammo. He brought them in to work and showed me. The primers are hit normal. He/we figured it was his gun and he has already contacted Savage. Hmmmmmm, will let him know this. Thanks.

In the late 80s (a long time ago), I had several such misfires with Federal ammo in my .243. Hopefully, they'll get to the bottom of the problem.

Mine would fire with a second strike. Both cases were in Marlin 336s from 1948 and 1952.
Have him get the lot numbers and ask Remington. While it may be bought new from a gunstore it may be old stock.
