Here's a few I found today. Slow start but I found one good patch right before it was time to leave and it made the day.

I tried last weekend and got skunked. Ended up with three bluegills but no crappie. This was at Roush so not exactly central Indiana. The high winds have detoured me from trying this weekend.

I predict the hot bait on the walleye circuit this year will be lead sinkers. Last year guys were catching big walleyes just loaded with the things! Gotta match the hatch.

Walked around for a couple hours this afternoon. I am getting better at finding rabbits but unfortunately the places I usually find them aren't too good for quality shot opportunities. I guess that's why the rabbits choose to live where they do. This one messed up though and zigged when he should have zagged. He ran out of a ditch and across the corner of a cut corn field giving me a clear shot.

Followed a few tracks this morning that didn't pan out. Finally, this one jumped out of a pile of cattails along a small creek.

Yeah I agree this season has been challenging. I wish we could get another snowfall or two to finish out the season. But it doesn't look like that is likely.

Congratulations, that's awesome! How did it go down? Did they come in to land in the flooded timber?

Always starts with a Wind blown coveā¦ One of those day I could do no wrong. 26 of them bad boys. Nice bunch of bass there. What type of body of water? Reservoir? Natural lake? Pond? Is that a road runner in the bass' mouth?

Were you able to wade out to retrieve your goose or did you have a dog with you?

I tried a couple new spots today on public. The first spot did not produce but it's hard to get an accurate picture without snow. The second unit I tried I jumped this one along a ditch. Walked from 730 to 1030 and only saw one today.

I didn't realize you could have custom shells made. Would be a cool gift idea. Kind of like having your own personalized golf balls made up.

That's weird. I wonder if they were made for a certain gun club and or shooting preserve some got out to the public by mistake? Seems like a logical explanation. I bet that's what happened.

Does the headstamp say Federal? Yes. Headstamp on both are the same.
