I was trying out a new theory. Buddies property has plenty of small maples. I Hinged cut several of them on a trail to the big maple stand. I laid them down to deer levelin hopes of creating a feeding route by the tree stand. Several of the trees of already been hit and leaves taken off. It's kind of hard to take a picture of something that's missing -leaves.. So far they've hit most of the hinge cut trees

I listen to the podcast one and a half times and I still think I need to go back over it to couple more. Very interesting information the school have to spin around in my mind for a while. Sounds like he was against the idea of crowdsourcing deer movement I'm not sure I agree with his argument is or seems like it would be a good thing to know when other local hunters are seeing deer movement.

Got a primitive hunt at muscatatuk and dad got opening day of bow at big oaks...is opening day of archery usually good there?? In my opinion no archery hunt at BO is good. Success rate is usually under 15%. Best use the hunt scouting for gun.

I built some of my own to use this year. Will compare notes with buddy. He bought an ozonics. I've spent enough on parts that I just should have gone ozonics. If he didn't think his worked, he would not keep dragging it out in the field with him.

Did you cross the green bridge getting to crosley range? I grew up shooting at that place. Was helping a buddy set up his 6.5 cm for a Canada wolf hunt. He hesitated driving his FJ around the sharp curve just before the bridge. Told him motor homes have made it around😀

I prefer free but safe so I usually drive 45 minutes further to Crosley where they also have a 200 yd range. If your going on a nice weekend, get there early. The range officer for the last few times I've been is top notch; hard-working and friendly.

Not quite the same but I had an 89 Cherokee with a console shift that would fail to engage unless I pushed it up while starting. I just lived with it for >250000 miles😀

Another 10 years and we'll have drones mowing our yards. Congrats on the milestone! I told my wife the next car we buy new will likely be self driving. Elon Musk will have us all under ground zipping along at 250mph in commuter trains

Another 10 years and we'll have drones mowing our yards. Congrats on the milestone! lol Just turned 57. Doesn't give me much time for that deer. I would like to hear the list from a 60 or 70+ person.
