Woody: BUT, it's still a dead deer, not a wounded deer. What bothers me about archery is just what Fred is saying. WAY more wounding than firearms. Just look through the posts here. What's the percentage of archery wounded deer vs. firearm wounded deer? OR should we not change the equipment laws, but instead push for a law saying once you draw blood, that is a tag filled whether the deer is recovered or not? How would that law be enforced…..self enforcement would be the only way! Like most other things, with Social Media being a huge part of peoples lives, that would be one way. How do people get fired, or NOT get hired?

Lets see, took a gun to a buddy's house to shoot, put the bolt for the gun in the case, with the gun. Only problem was the bolt was for a .257 Weatherby instead of a 7mm wildcat.
Drove 45 min. out to the hunting spot and left the rifle leaning against the garage.
2 weekends ago I went to shoot International Bunker Trap, 5-stand and skeet. Had 3 hours to shoot all 3, and it was a 40 minute drive one way. Get there and I had cylinder chokes in the gun, which was fine for skeet except I left the skeet shells at home, all I had was 3/4 oz practice loads for my 12 ga. (for skeet). I didn't even try to shoot the other 2 because I had left all my other choke tubes at home.....

I don't know what's worse. Those guys or all the Yellow Jackets flying around.
I sprayed the outside of the house (around the windows, doors, etc.) with Suspend Polyzone 2 weeks ago. They were dying and starting to pile up today. I knew they'd be bad once we had a frost (and we did 2 mornings ago) and it warmed up again.

I was hoping that the colors would be changing there. When you get back they will be doing the same here. They are in most places. I would say at 70% from peak. With the wind today, it was raining leaves.

I heard that one of our satellites that was trained on that area caught a rocket leaving the Gaza strip heading for Israel, then doing a 180° turn and hitting the hospital.
I guess they were trying to blame it on Israel and didn't know that we had an eye in the sky watching the whole thing.

Why couldn't we have gotten this rain in late August? It's enough to germinate seeds but not enough to put any ground water back into the earth.

A customer and friend who's son is over there (long story, but he moved there recently and joined the army) sent some pictures here from a city in Israel that was overrun the first day.
Pictures of a children's playground, plastic houses, slides, etc. all riddled with bullets. There was a drag mark in the playground "dirt" that looks like something was dragged away from one of those slightly elevated plastic play houses.
Then another picture from the inside of a house that was bullet ridden (from the inside) and there were red stains on the carpet. From my understanding the bullets were not fired by the Israelis.
The sediment over there is that they (Israelites) are sick and tired of having rockets shot their way numerous times a week and praying that the "Iron Dome" will work to blow them up before they land. They would be happy if the Gaza area was turned to glass because that would stop the problem from that direction.
I can't imagine living in a place where you have to worry about getting bombed or shot on a weekly basis.

That's great news. It seems the corner has been turned and is in the rear view mirror.

The regulation states that it's not bait as long as it's part of the farming practice.

I'd hunt the woods, staying on the property that you can hunt on and not give it a 2nd thought.
