This is really upsetting my wife. I tell her that the only thing we can do about this war is to pray, then leave it all to God. As I’ve grown older I’ve learned to not worry about things I have no control over or that I can’t affect the outcome. I’m just going on living what life I have left in God’s peace for me. I try to tell my family to do the same thing. Woody, that's the truth!

While I really don't want Trump to be on the ticket (for fear of the hordes of people that will vote for someone else solely because they don't like his personality) if he's the Republican's choice, then that is the way I will vote. I don;t see us surviving (and thriving) under another 4 years of an administration like this one.
My college roomate (whom I talk with at least once a week) is a self proclaimed Libetard. He would vote against Biden if anybody else besides Trump were to oppose Biden. He would solely vote against Trump because of Trumps personality, not because he thinks Trump did a bad job as president. What I don't understand is how a person with an IQ of 150 can think like that.

Finally getting on the board. Please add 2 for Team Fort Nuts Both were about 50 yds away, the 2nd one led me on a merry chase through the woods for about 150 yds before I could get it to hold still enough AND be in the clear for long enough so I could get a shot. The 17 Mach II still works. Beauty of a rifle, too!! Thanks. I've had it for around 12-15 years now, bought it used on Gunbroker. They guy said he bought too many Coopers so his wife made him sell a few guns. It, like any other 17 cal is picky about how dirty it is, so I have to clean it about every 50 rounds.

Hard to beat Remington CoreLokts if they shoot well in your rifle. Deadliest mushroom in the woods ! The issue with standard cup n core bullets is that at high impact velocity they tend to come apart. The monolithic bullets don't have that issue. Look up the intended impact velocity window for the CoreLokts. If it's not up to 3200+ fps then they might act like a varmint bullet and explode at a close shot at a deer from the .243 and not give you the needed penetration. I prefer an exit hole so the blood trail (if needed) is better than a single entrance hole.

I was squirrel hunting today and I saw where 2 bucks were pushing each other around. Some hoof slide marks on the sand were 4' long. I pulled trail cam cards, and one cam didn't take pics. Either that or the card is bad. I have a different newer card in the 2 cams that are acting up, so in 2 days I'll pull them and see if it's the cam or the cards. I did get a pic of one 6 point buck where the main beam is broken off about 2" above the G1's, so it's starting to get serious. Nothing on cam with antlers worth shooting.

I don't believe you need a fire extinguisher un less you use a motor. DON'T seek the advise of others or groups of others such as those on "FACEBOOK" because they want to steer you away from the good blinds so they have a better chance on the leftover draws. STEER YOUR OWN SHIP!Great advice and this is the reason for my scouting on my own And I'm looking at buying my own boat because LaSalle FWA no longer have boats to use and also so that I can start hunting the rivers and fishing the rivers . The wider it is the more stable it is.

A 2nd and 3rd vote for the Barnes bullets. I shot a Northern Wi 2 1/2 yr old buck with the .243/85g Barnes TSX as he was facing directly at me, with his head down eating something. Bullet entered top of the neck right in front of the shoulder, I thought great, now I will finally get to see what a Barnes bullet looks like. Nope, it exited it's scrotum, and the deer fell straight down, never taking a step. It was dead before it felt anything.
BUT bullet placement is key too. Just like shooting anything.

Dang, prayers for the deceased and injured. Now that will probably put a crimp in the powder supply AGAIN. Hornady, not Hodgon, if that's what you were thinking? Dang, yes. Brain you know what.....
