I have an invite to hunt in Tennessee this spring on some private land, so may be heading down there before our season comes in. Maybe I can get one down there.

Well Prayers for All that will be effected by this, and prayers for a job to come your way. It is very hard to get layed off, but to be told you are loosing your job completly, that really hurts. It messes with your mind also. I just hope things work out for all those up there and hang in there.

That is really bad news to hear. I feel really sorry for the 600 workers that will loose their jobs.

So I have a Ruger SR45, and really like it, but for my needs with fishing and stream fishing, I need something smaller to conceal. So I am wanting to trade my Ruger in for a 9 MM. A buddy bought a springfirld arms xd, nice comapct gun, but the safety on the grip on the back of the grip kinda bothers me, so what if it snags and the safety gets pushed in? And then looked at the S&W 9mm shield Thoughts?

I did not see hardly anything yesterday out scouting. I may just go out in the morning and see what all flying , after all this rain, may push small rivers out and some flood water, but with no birds, wont do any good.

I have a couple old tools, but they are from my Grandfather, who was a carpenter , so several of his tools look like they had to do a lot more work than we do now. I love the hand neld drill I have of his, you have to work to drill that baby into wood. and have his oil can, and couple of other tools. Just sweet memories of my Grandfather.

new PSE Fang, on sale for $329.99, and then get 20% off that which drops it to $263.99, read about the scope, and here you guys like the Hawk brand. Which XB scope you guys talking about? Also will the ten point accu draw cocking device work on this crossbow?

Not sure, I will ask him. He just put on his ad that he put a new string and scope last year on it. I know nothing about the scope thing either, if that is a good scope or not. I know it is not the HP or G3, so what ever that means.

So I have never owned a cross bow, been looking and found a guy who has a 2 year old crossbow. So need some input. Wicked Ridge Invader, new string last year, new Redfield 2x7x34 revenge scope, limb dampers, accudraw 50 , 6 bolt quiver, 5 FMJ bolts, and I think he said he has a case for it also. He is asking $325.00 plus shipping. Said bow is ready to go, and in great condition, he is upgrading to a ten point bow. So is this a good deal ? Looks really good and taken care of? Thanks for any help. Brian

I know this world has made a very special birthday into a money making event, and we tend to forget what Christmas is all about. Christmas is about the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ, who was sent to us from our Great Heavenly God to teach us and eventually died on the cross for forgiveness of our sins. When you take a moment, reflect on the true meaning, and why it is important that we thank our God for ALL that he has done for us. It is not what all you get for Christmas, but what the Greatest gift we have been given. The gift from God , and to forgive us of our sins, we should celebrate the birth of Jesus , which is a gift that nothing in this world could equate with, no amount of money, items, but the gift of Jesus. Enjoy the holidays, but reflect on the True meaning of Christmas, because when the presents are gone, and everyone is back into their normal everyday job, remember, God is still giving .
I wish each and everyone on Hunting Indiana a very Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year.

This is why the other countries like china and russia want the U.S to ban all guns, then they could invade the U.S. They know we have our military plus over 3million registered hunters, which means they have guns, not including people who have guns for personal use and protection, not sayine we never will, but they all know it would not be pretty.

I was raised in Evansville, and have always hunted and fished. My Dad always took us. I would like to move to around the St. Charles area, good hunting and smallie fishing. but I will never get the chance to move there, so I am stuck here.

I am still trying to decide what I am wanting to get. I am thinking to start off with maybe a pse fang, and then trade up later down the road if I go enough. My hunting season depends a lot on my back, and then hunting out of a ground blind, so just waiting for some really sweet deals to come around. I am hoping there will be some nice deals for Christmas.

That is what I am after. A good goose hunt. I have not shot a goose in 3 years due to back issues. Hoping to get out and try to do some goose hunting this season, if we get the weather to bring them down.
