Even it there was such a law . Would you expect it to be very high on the priority list for enforcement. I think there are worse problems to worry about. So why make another law.
my 2 cents

;DMy daughter Kelsey took her first bird this morning. Took her to Crane and has several birds sounding off. Had to move twice to get in good position and called two into less than 20 yards. She got beard fever and didn't pull the trigger. Still had birds gobbling so stayed put and within 15 minutes called in 3 more with one strutting at about 12 yards. It seemed like an eternity before she dropped him in his tracks. 25 Lbs 1" spurs 10 1/2" beard All before 7AM Man am I proud!!!! That smile is what I was shooting for. Bob

I agree with Brad Don't mess with the youth season. Add an Extra tag for a full week after the regular season. It would be a great challenge.

If I have them in my pack and remember them I will use them. If their not in the pack or I forget about them I don't no big deal.
Another tip Carry a clear diet soda (7up or Sprite) for clean up the carbonation seems to help and it isn't sticky because there is not sugar. And if you don't use it all you have something to drink.

Didn't see one on the hoof this year but I have pictures of 4 different ones 2 just before bow season and 2 during gun season. My timing was generally off this year.

I have hunt with a seat of the pants for several years now upgraded to the SOP fastback a couple years back. I never had any problems with them, I have had a few people try to talk me into HSS stating that they are easier and faster to get on. SOP is easy enough to get on especially the fastback. Never get in a hurry when it comes to my safety, being in a hurry generally causes mistakes. I could see one of the buttons getting bumped accidentaly (at least that would be my luck) Once you put the straps together on the SOP they are not coming out without conscious effort.

I'm wondering......would this be considered fair chase? Good question to debate I run it past my 14 year old daughter and she says no. I am inclined to lean the same way. Kinda like a deer trapped in deep snow I would not consider that fair chase either. But now you have to take into account the fact that he wounded the deer with the first shot, it was then his responsibility to go ahead and take him. I could not in all honesty try to enter him in a book but that decision is up to the hunter. Bob

Now while it does not justify what is perceived to have happened in this case, which is just rumor at the moment. I do take offense to the language be used here. I happen to be one of the people that had an ATV on a trailer, I also have a state disability perrmit and a signed statement from the property manager required by state law, allowing me to use it on base. I do not use a climber as my disability is a back injury that does not allow the use of a climber or carrying or dragging heavy items. Lets not start name calling until we know all the facts.

I left work early today But a buddy called me and said a basewide email was sent that stated
Due to the current security posture all hunting on center has been suspended.
That all I have for now.

Unethical- probably not like 480 said it won't change the movement of the deer. Illegal - If it is infrared Yes. If it is a booner walking down the trail and you are honest it won't get in the book!!!!! I'm not going to use it. No opinion other than the ones I have stated. Bob
