Not with winds like that; I might go out in the morning; I'm seeing reports of 10 to 20mph for Saturday. If there on the 10 side I'll go, if they're more like 20 I won't bother.

I am taking my daughter out in the morning. I figure winds don't usually pick up until about 9:30 10:00, so we will hunt until then. It will be chilly in the morning, so hopefully they will be moving.

The winds are from the west at 16 here but I think they will lay some toward evening so I will be heading out before long. Set the clock for this morning but could here the wind chimes chiming away so went back to sleep.

Set the clock for this morning but could here the wind chimes chiming away so went back to sleep. I wouldnt count on them laying down much if any at all until well after dark..... There is a super strong Low northwest of us and the isobar lines are extremely tight with it... It is also taking its sweet time moving away from us, translation...... High winds for awhile...

Great evening in northern Warrick county. The wind laid real good about 45 minutes before quitting time. I saw three bucks and 5 does/fawns. The one buck looked borderline but I only caught a couple/three seconds of him at 40 yards. Looked to be a wide as ears 8 with decent mass. I would have liked to had a better look at him - closer. The other two were yearlings - a forky and 6 pointer. The 6 pointer freshened a scrape about 40 yards from me. Pretty sunset too..
