Our lease is through one of the major reputable outfits, we've had it for about eight years. Written right in the terms the landowner gets a small rent increase every year. So long as we have complied with all of the rules, we as renters have first rights to renew the lease every year without any games. If we renew the paperwork and pay on time, it's ours for another year. If somebody wanted to pay 50% more than us, the landowner can't legally just kick us out and let the other guy in. He'd have to let our lease run it's course and then give us notice that the farm will no longer be available when lease expires. If a leasing agent started pulling stunts like that, he'd be cutting his own throat. I understand what you are saying about the paperwork you have signed with your leasing agent and I am not going to sit here and argue with Greg for the next few days on the subject. BUT it does happen I've seen it happen to friends and in laws when the leases started to gain popularity back in the late 80's you simply could not outbid these guys coming in. Greg can say what he wants I've seen what I've seen. I hope everyone's hunting seasons contunue to go as well as they can on owned property, leased property, permission property, and public property. May your bucks grow big may your ducks fall close and may your fish fight hard. I'll do my best to keep up on my over crowded public property and hanging by a thread permission property 😄. Have a good day.

The guy selling leases does not act desperate to dump his listing drive up the market.
