Good afternoon everyone.
I just received a call from my younger sister. She has just been diagnosed with breast cancer. She doesn't have much information yet other than it's "grade 2".
From my understanding, there's grades 1-3. 1 being a slow growing cancer and 3 being the fastest. She's right in the middle.
It's been a difficult week already.
Some prayers for her healing would be greatly appreciated.

Michelle Keys had been dispatching for our department for a very long time. Our last day working together was typical as always. Kind smile and witty words. She was extremely knowledgeable and the experience she had in her profession is hard to come by. She was bold, honest and genuinely cared about others. She was suppose to work with my twin sister in dispatch this morning but, failed to show up or call in sick. She was found deceased in her home from what appears to be a heart attack. She will be missed. Life is a fickle thing people. Make sure the ones you love, family, friends, etc. know that you do love them. Please say a prayer for her friends and family as well as our department. God bless.  |

We didn't get hit that hard in Jasper County. It'd be hard to trudge around in some of the snow totals I saw northeast of us.

I'll be heading out for my first rabbit hunt tomorrow. Little fresh snow should help the tracking. I'll try my best not to shoot squirrels but, they're so thick in my woods I really want to get rid of a few.

For any whiskey and Chris Stapleton fans, the new Traveller whiskey from Buffalo Trace is amazing. You don't even have to like Chris Stapleton to enjoy it! Very smooth with and amazing aroma and even better taste. Nice clean finish at the end too.  |

Well, I got my Woolrich red, buffalo plaid flannel in the mail today. It's built well and I'm sure I'll love it but, it's just not the same feeling as the one Daphne got me. I'll have to be more careful with this one.
