Mark up 2 for team 3 The fuzzytail bandits. The 2ND 1 didn't want to die lol. I missed the first time when she was behind a bunch of leaves but then she came out in the open.I aimed for the head and she dropped and thud. She laid behind a little tree and didn't move,I figured well she's dead so I stood there to see if anymore was in the hickory,I thought there might be. About 5 minutes later I looked over at her but she was gone. I took a step that way and she had moved about a foot away from the tree, still breathing and blinking,so I walked over, pointed the gun at her head and she screamed when I shot. After 10 seconds of flipping around she was still gasping for air so I put the gun right up to her head and shot again. She still flipped and kicked for about another 10 seconds. It reminded me of the movie The Crow when the guy shoved the sword into the pawnshop guy's throat "aren't you ever going to die". I'm thinking of switching back to hollow points, that's what I usually use. I figured with all the noise that I'd call it a morning and headed back to the truck,on the way out a little fellow came down a tree and I shot freehand and of course missed. I'm not sure what kind it was but it was a tiny one, about the size of a chipmunk.

Never saw a single squirrel. Thought I spied a tail, but it was corn silk.

Sitting in my deck sipping coffee and eating a piece of breakfast bread I could have limited out .... off my bird feeder.
I’ve got two pileated woodpeckers on it now. Squirrels don’t come around when those bad boys are there.

Chalk up 3 more for fuzzytail bandits. Should have had 2 more but one fell 30ft bounced off the ground 3ft and took off. Kind suprised me. The last one was big and old. You could see his jewels. Decided I didnt want to mess with that one.

I've never seen anybody else squirrel hunting it anyway.

2 grays for Team 1. Decided to take the old Marlin 881 with Remington Subsonics for a walk today. Got probably 30 yards into the woods and had one come down a Cottonwood barking at me. Dropped that one out and another jumped to a different limb up in the Cottonwood so I didn't move for 10 minutes. Never did see it again and the first one that I heard hit the ground was gone!! Moved on to a Hickory and got my pair. Had enough of the heat and left. There was someone in the next little woods that must have been hunting Robo squirrels because every time he shot his shotgun he either fired 4 or 5 times. 14 shots in 3 separate strings of fire! Sure was nice to be back out there though!

Nice going fellas!
Omega, that 881 is the "squirrel" isn't it? I tried to get one, but deal fell thru.
My 925 is nothing special looking, but it's the most accurate 22 I ever had.
