I just did a little fishing . I’m basically just going to kick back and relax.I came here straight from work , little over a 3 hour drive .

I won't be able to make it. I had a bad allergy attach this morning. It was a bad one. Hands are still slaking from the shock. Need to stay in AC and lay low. Goldenrod and ragweed are my two killers.

My dad has a ppap machine he sleeps with so I had to get his generator running or he was going to have to go home. It was nice to see and chat with you again. After our conversation I'm that dinner with you and Dennis was more years ago than I thought. |

It was Great meeting or re-meeting everyone . Saturday nights dinner was great .I didn't see any squirrels on Saturday but on Sunday I put o'le thunder foot on a fox squirrel .

I'm sorry I missed you leaving Jeff. It was nice to see you again, I'm just sorry you didn't fill that cooler while you were here.
Gumbootbill showed up around the time you left. Turns out he is a neighbor to the farm owners. Found out we stomp around on some of the same ground.

Emma and I had a good time Saturday. She hasn't sent me any texts about that black truck either!!!
It was nice meeting Mossberg500, Firstwd (again)and his brother and the fam and another member (sorry I forgot the name). The dinner was great (deer, pork, wild turkey(the bird) and some fixin's) and I'm glad I can put some faces to some names. You guys got a nice little place there... Nice to sit around and just shoot the breeze.

I'm glad people get to meet each other. That was something I looked forward to when this site was just getting going. I do wish we could get about a hundred, but I completely understand that everybody has lives.
Jbird says again about meeting me because I taught some if not all of his kid's Hunter Ed classes.

It was me that came rolling in late. It was a pleasure to meet you, your daughter and Mossberg500!! Would've been nice to have spent the entire evening in camp, but when your wife throws you a surprise 40th birthday party..it's generally a good idea to stick around!! 😆

Sorry huntfreak - I just couldn't recall properly. I tend to be terrible with names and the last thing I wanted to do was reference the wrong person.
Yes - firstwd has at least taught 2 of the hunters ed classes my kids have taken....possibly all 4. He does a heck of a job and keeps it interesting for the kids. He serves as a real example of how we need to keep our kids...any kids...involved in the outdoors in one way shape or form. I knew I recognized him from somewhere.....I just had a little difficulty putting my finger on it.

A couple of my family members seen that I had such a great time and actually shooting a nice sized squirrel that they want to join in on next years jamboree . My brother is talking about renewing his Illinois F.O.I.D. card so he can hunt .
