I checked about getting one of the new cards to replace my old one. Still in good shape. They wanted $25. Maybe I should apply for a new one?

I am not sure if that has a plastic recoil buffer of not. Sometimes they get hard and break. Is it made like the Marlin 60? If it is on the fireing pin strut there is a small hole through it just the right size for a paper clip. I suggest using it. Also check the round pusher if tube fed. It can get chewed up. Check out marlinowners.com There is a lot of info there on most things Marlin. Utube has a lot of info too.

No White privilege's here. Cases like this are why I oppose the death penalty most of the time. Had Cos been any working class man he would still be in prison. I just feel that legal issues are an area where having money makes a huge difference.

Not the Hammer throw or even an Olympic Sport but my wife was a world class athlete in the skillet throw.

This will just go on until people quit tuning in. Not until the TV money dries up will anything happen. With luck that is the last we see of her. 3rd in trials I doubt she will make it to the podium.

Thank you. It would be nice to have a section just devoted to ammo recalls. I am sure that there are old recalls that may not surface with a search coming on the market. No replies needed. Just the caliber and maker in the heading. Put the link or info in the body.

Would a felon having to pay tax on a firearm he possesses be a violation of his 5th amendment rights? So with the rate of Felons returning to a life of crime wouldn't possession of a firearm be grounds to confiscate it? Now they want our guns and our money. They use the Pittman-Roberts as an example of taxes we already pay. Why not add more?

The Legislature passed a law requiring the Governor to seek all the money available to him. - Holcomb turned down Federal money.
- Holcomb gets sued to reinstate the payments and loses.
- Holcomb appeals the decision
- The appeals can go on until it is resolved or one decides not to appeal.
That is how the system should work. It does not matter if we like the law or support it. The Judges should look at it and decide if the LAW is written correctly. The Legislature can go back and amend the law if they choose. The people can vote out some Judges. I do not believe that is how it works in real life all the time. At the Federal level it is so political I do not think a decision at any level can really be trusted.

WELL I WILL WATCH SOME OLIMPIC EVENTS...
TRAP
SKEET
PISTOL
RIFLE
AIR RIFLE
ARCHERY
It would be nice if they had more coverage of these events then a mention when a medal is won.
It would be nice if they had ANY coverage of these events.
So probably I will have wait until they are put up on YouTube.

I am seeing more ammo and dropping prices lately. I picked up some Aquila .22s from one shop. A box of 22 Hornet in another. Sportsman's Warehouse had some ammo on the shelf. Also had Federal Small pistol magnum primers, I got 500. I could use some Lil Gun and W231 powders and LPPs.

I have a vision of a guy pushing the button on public ground and the woods lights up like a parking lot. It would be handy for letting someone hunting your ground to make it easy to find the stand.

Depending on your phone service you may not want to answer calls with area code 855. I was checking a number and this came up on Google... "No city has the area code 855 . It is a toll free area code used throughout the United States and Canada. The calls are free to the caller because the receiving party pays the long distance charges of the call. You cannot tell who is calling from that number and it is highly likely it is a scam." JUst another example of the FCC and the government helping us out.
How is that do not call list working out?

This is a case where that Shirra Law might be effective. Hard to shoplift with no hands.

Mossbergs are a tough functional shotgun. The Winchester Model 12 is a classic gun. The Ithaca 37 set the standard for light weight guns. Compared to the 870 the Mossberg always feels clunky to me like something is loose and going to drop off at any time. The M12 is a solid gun as is the Ithaca but the 12 is more complicated than the 870 and the 37 worse than both. I love my 870 lightweight Special Field. Rabbits, doves, pheasants and deer have all fallen to it. My son took his first duck and deer with it.

Probably in front of the Rand House will be your best bet. That is the big house on the rise south of the creek. The area just east of Friendship also may be good for you too.
