This was the first. As I’m watching a hunting show on the outdoor channel, a knock comes to the door. WAIT A MINUTE! How did you get a hunting show in a hotel room. They NEVER have them where I stay. I asked one time and they said they offended too many people.

Wow!!!!!!!!!!!! Are you sure they were real wimen? Cause to knock on a hotel door and ask some stranger not to take long hot showers takes a pair. I bet they were vegans too. Were they knocking on all of the doors? That seems just weird to me. Since I am paranoid I probably would not have opened the door for them. DISCLAIMER I have nothing against Trans, LBJQWERTY, Vegans, Demorats or even tree huggers and Seventh Adventists. AS LONG AS THEY LEAVE ME ALONE

I’ve destroyed one hornets nest so far in the barn overhang ceiling and countless wasps nests all over the place. With my daughter being allergic I spend a lot of time trying to keep all of them away from areas we frequent. I have heard you could spray wood surfaces with Ammonia. It kills the larvae from what I understand.

I was out front with my 14 month old granddaughter when I noticed a golf ball size nest hanging from the soffit. On closer examination I saw a Hornet flying in and out of it. I am not tough enough to just reach up and grab it and throw it to the ground. I called my daughter to get me a can of brake cleaner from work. Since it was dark when she got home I figured to get the whole coloney. I hosed it down good and used a shepherds crook plant holder to knock it down. There was only one hornet in it. I did not want a big ole hornet nest hanging along the sidewalk to the front door. Would have been kind of cool though but I doubt USPS, UPS or Prime delivery would have wanted to walk by it. I would have given it a pass if it were high in a tree though.

I have rabbits everywhere this spring. Most be that 10 year cycle. for beginners, would you recommend a place for small game hunting? thanks It would really help to put your general area on your post. Give guys an idea where to recommend you try. Places with crop fields near a brushy area. Brushy areas. Hawthorne thickets. Old overgrown cowpaths. Tall grassy areas before it snows. Almost all F&W areas have some good pockets of bunnies. Make it fun and simple get a good running beagle. The extra cost for a running dog will more make up for a disappointment when a pup does not work out. Just do not believe the sellers pitch. A good hound should be able to run a track on it's own. Helps if they are deer broke.

I about lost my Cherokee boat the last time out. I came to the intersection of a state highway and the highway bypass around town and the light was green before I got to the intersection. I normally always look both ways when it first turns green because there have been fatalities at that intersection because of people running the red light on the bypass even though it is also clearly visible for a long distance. Anyway, as I am going through the intersection, I see a full-size white van flying toward me in the passing lane and I goose the pedal and make it through the intersection as he goes through right behind me. He was going so fast that he couldn't even keep from going through the intersection. Once he was through, he floored it again. Where I had someone pull out in front of me and total my motorcycle, break 4 ribs and my left wrist in 2014, there were two more accidents last week within 3 days that totaled 4 vehicles. People have got to start paying more attention to their surroundings and not their radio or phone or whatever! I taught my kids to drive and not rush to pull out when the light turns green. My daughter siad that has saved her more than once.

Water with triple lemon. Squeeze them all, add a couple packets of sugar substitute and viola - zero cost Lemonade! Or this. Several different flavors and pretty decent. Better than plain water! I carried Arnold Palmer concentrate in my lunch box. I bought maybe I pop a month. A friend of mine helped his sister out with their roach coach. He said the cup, lid and straw cost about the same as the pop to fill it.

When they built the Hoosier Heartland four lane through this area some time ago there were quite a few fatalities due to people pulling out in front of highway traffic. The do-gooders all started screaming for traffic lights at a few intersections where this was occurring. Last thing you want when traveling a four lane is a bunch of stop lights, so thankfully they didn't do it. At every one of those intersections, you can pull up to the stop sign and clearly see a half mile or more both directions. Problem was, people were rolling through the stop signs, driving carelessly. This is in an area that has some of the fastest growth in Indiana. Walmart, Lowes, Home Depot, Mejiers, strip malls and about every fast food joint line it. If it isn't a business it is houses. When it was widened in the 1980s a lot of the land had access to Lima Rd so these 2,3,5 hundred subdivisions all have entrances. I have easily stopped for a changing light only to see 2, sometimes 3 vehicles go right through the now RED light. This area is no longer rural.

It happened at Lima and Till. Southbound Durango running way too fast hit a guy broadside. His passenger was pinned in their car. This is like the fifth or so this year. All happening from Cedar Canyon Rd south. As far as I know they are all due to running the lights. And I would guess exceeding the speed limit, everyone does in that area. I never see any police presence on the road either. Maybe passing through. youtu.be/_N6bW4_iazE?si=7NmSl3Ch18OFAyTS

In my work travels over the last few years, it seems to me that I’ve noticed a crazy increase in the price of sodas at various restaurants. Excluding combos at fast food places, I especially noticed many Mexican restaurants at an average of $3.99 for a lunch drink. For 40 centavos more you can get domestic beer at LaLos. 90 for premium. Good food at reasonable prices.

I would be inclined to just leave it alone. You know what is going to happen as soon it is out of the shop. What's that, hit another deer? Yep LOL. I would like to see how a deer guard is made and thickness of material. How it mounts too. I think some are awful thin material. They would not much good if it folded into the grill.

I thought I might have seen some ripples on the way home last night.
All this talk of the Northern Lights has put me in the mood for some Robert Service. I think I will read his "Creamation of Sam Magee" to my granddaughter 😉

It got dark then the sun came out. It did that a few times. Nothing close on the weather map. They did set the sirens off in north Ft Wayne though. My daughter called and insisted I take my 13 m.o. granddaughter next door and make use of their basement.
