It would be great to do a wounded Warriors hunt on the GM facility south of Ft Wayne. They could be helping GM and GM would be helping WW. You think a Gun hunt would be allowed at that location? I do not know if they have ever been approached. I remember reading where they held a WW hunt at Roush Lake and I think they saw 1 deer. I had passed GM and there were at least 3 bucks and a bunch of does along 69. I think there are a lot of areas on that property where someone could set up. I think it would not hurt to ask. Here is a topo map. Go south along I69 to the interchange at I469/Lafaytte Center road. www.google.com/maps/d/viewer?mid=1TYsk8Qy0JN38SVhpafEpGOvGvMw&ll=40.96623548844872%2C-85.30271763706148&z=17

I am praying all goes well for your whole family.
As far as work goes if you need to take care of any family member you can get FMLA. It is the law. Now there may be some exceptions but if your company is big enough to have HR they should be big enough to be under the act.

So if it is livestock could he legaly kill it? If that Kentucyana buck was worth $10K wouldn't this one be worth about the same? I realize loose livestock law varies from state to state. Would it be the same as a bull or a horse loose? How about dogs? On the other hand he should have mentioned the High fence name. The country wide exposure would be worth as much as the buck.
Wasn't there a similar case a few years back where a high fence buck was shot?

Not the smartest decision. Looks like the plans for big $$$$$ will fall through too.
The downside is it will give those that claim every big buck comes from a deer farm some credence.

Say you have a smoking deal lined on a ( fill in the blank ) but you do not have enough to buy her the appliance dejour AND ammo. First you need a gun case preferably a hard case. The soft cases you need to put some filler in or you will get busted. Take said case and walk by the wife with it saying the last time you had it out there was a problem with it. For safety reasons you are taking it to the gunstore for a check up because you want to be sure there are no safety issues with it. Put the new gun in the case and walk right in with it. It works most of the time.

When ever I bought a new gun I usually picked up a new sweeper, crockpot whatever I thought she might need around the house. It worked with all nine of my wives.

The Co-Op in the industrial park in Ft Wayne sells an Ethanol free 91? octane gas. It stores better than the Ethanol gas. I use it in my boat and other 2 cycle gas.

That is funny. Yet the same site allows Scam companies to operate freely and do nothing to stop them.

So much for the Native Americans believing it brought them luck.
Maybe go look around where you have gutted a lot of deer would work better. You know that spot where you can go to get does almost any time.

I picked up pads and fuel at Sportsman Warehouse a couple of weeks ago. I did not look for just pads though.
I bought one of the softball size rechargeable ones off Amazon a month or so ago and I believe they had pads at that time. So far I like mine.

I took the day off to take my daughter in for her 6 month old checkup. I was watching the news when they announced that a plane had hit the towers. The way they said it I thought they meant like a small Piper. I watched both towers come down and heard the news about the Pentagon and the crash in Pennsylvania.
Later that night there was only one plane in the night sky. The next I met my brother in Friendship. They really did not good coverage because of being in the valley.
So except for the first six months or my girls life she has not known of anything but war.

I think that Norma was always high. The $6.99 was about what it was selling for when this mess started.

So how did they get here? Are feral hogs running them out of the south? Do people use them for pets and turn them loose?

I was at Ft Wayne RK about a week ago and they had mostly AR AK and that type ammo. I need to find a reason to go back. Thomlinson's in 'Busco has a lot of ammo. A good supply of powders but a lot I do not use. He even has SRP, SPP, LPP and LRP at the bargin price of $100/1000. He had several bags of lead shot in some different sizes. Triple A in Laotto has a good supply of ammo. We were at Tomlinsons a few weeks ago and they didnt have ANY primers. For $100, I dont care if he had a million on hand anyway. Powder was a little stiff, but nothing I needed either. Bullets were up there as well. Luckily I am well stocked for now, so no worries for awhile. Good deals are still out there if you look. I go to Thomlinsons because it is a short drive for me. The only other place in Ft Wayne that sells reloading supplies and equipment is Sportsman's Warehouse. Powder and Primers are usually about what I would pay and have them shipped to me. Plus they stock and sell real Black powder.
