Perhaps a more direct question is in order. With the new check system, after a hunter has checked in a deer, are there any restrictions for on site processing (other than wanton waste and dumping carcus into waterways)?
Thanks for all you do.

I just added it up that I could have legally taken 9 bucks in Indiana last season. That does not include urban as I had no urban place to hunt…..just saying.

The bundle would be good for taking one antlerless deer in either the bow or muzzy season of a non ba F&W area though, if that is any help.

I am not a CO but the way I read the regulations is that: no you cannot use a bundle to take a ba deer in a F&W area that does not allow ba deer.

Kevin, I am with you. Only reason I have an I phone is that one of my hunting buddies gave me his g3 when he up graded. I still begrudge paying for the monthly data package.

Wouldn't it tough to admit you lost your rifle? You happen to have a full choke bbl for an 1100 in there?

Picked this up today at a garage sale. The bow had a home-maid paint job but the seller thought it was made by Bear. Turns out the paint covered marks say "Wing Archery Company". Anyone have first hand knowledge of these bows? Is it a Red Hunter? They don't seem to have the following as Bear bows but a reputation as good shooters. PS the circa 1963 Bear quiver is worth many times what I paid ;D

This is a photo of my 2012 bird it was 24.6lbs,11"beard,28mm&27mm spurs. After letting 3 Jakes walk just min.into the opening day of season I sat until approx.12:00 noon when I heard the farmer show up with his equipment to begin planting. At the very same time 2 very big Toms also showed up and were walking into my decoys as the farmer was coming around the corner of the woods. I panicked and rushed my shot at approx.45 yards missing my target. I hunted everyday except for 3 days I took off to fish Lake Erie. Upon my return I decided to switch things up a bit so on the day I bagged this bird I was hunting out of a 18"tall two man deer stand (that"s right a deer stand) that was located at the end of a recently disc ed food plot that was in this woodlot I was hunting. Right at legal this bird started gobbling next to another woods that I could see which was about a 1/4 mile away. During the next 3 hours I watched him along with 1hen,and 3jakes work their way across 2 different properties until they had worked their way into this food plot where they spent the next 3 hours feeding. They stayed about 80 yards away until they finally decided to head my way again and the rest is history. NOTE: I never called and I only used a hen decoy. It was patience that payed off in the long run. By the way this is the first time I have ever posted a photo on a computer hope it turned out well.

Nothing like turkey hunting in the rain and fog this morning. Didn't even hear a gobble.

Just when I thought it was safe to retire my compound. If there is a Sept season, I recon I will be out there. If it is a primitive season guess I will have to dig Bear Griz recurve out of the closet. Atlatl season in August anyone?

Tell how much you value the friendship and it is more important than the money. Tell him your feel half responsible. Tell him how much half the replacement cost would be. If he is taken back by the cost, just tell him again the friendship is worth more than the money and let it go.
