there is the scoutgaurd, the edge, and the covert . from what a sales rep told me they are all made by the same company. so if you wanted in the trail cam business you could probably get with them and call it a gumlick cam. anyway. i have a scoutgaurd and it is by far the best camera i have ever bought and plan on buying a couple more this summer. it beats all of my cuddes hands down. the trigger time is a little longer than the cuddes but the clearity is the same and battery life beats them hands down. i have had mine in the woods since middle of september and up till the last day of bow season it still had 2/3 battery power left. havent had to change batteries once. thats pretty good considering it takes AA. i can only get my cuddes to last about a month or a little longer in decent fall type weather. im going to check all my cams this weekend ill let you know and also post some pics it has taken.

i would dish out another 100 and get a scoutgaurd. in my opinion better than cudde or moultrie. fast trigger time and really long battery life. and really small.

i almost ran a big 150 class 10pt up last year. he didnt want to get up out of bed and just kept looking at me even after i got out of the cab. he finally moved over and stayed in the corn till the end of the very last pass. i can see how he got ran up. the outside snots are alot harder to watch than the middle. especially since thats a 16 row head, we have a 12 row and it gets tough to watch them all at once.

I get blood trails you can track from a helicopter using the Hornady SST. At times I think they're too destructive. same here. where the last doe i shot was standing there was bone fragment all over the ground and she had bit and pieces all over her hide.

sorry i meant to say both went down fairly easy in mine with little effort the superglides were just a hair easier

i dont know, but they might be off once you get down range some. all in all they regulars shockwave or sst's dont take that much more effort to get down than the superglides or the lowdrags anyway

i was going to say the same thing. i shot a pretty nice eight a few year ago and hung it up like that and after a day or two looked just like that. my taxidermist didnt like it much.
