Friend and I caught between 300 and 400 today. Most were small but we had several 12 to 14 inchers. Here is my friend holding a couple. All caught on jigs or roadrunners. ![](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v406/raporter/100_2476.jpg)

That day we were between Walls and Kings. The lake is down about 3 feet but I know what you mean, it seems lower. Here is my best one from yesterday, I was on the other end of the lake and caught over 100 and kept a limit of 11" or better. ![](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v406/raporter/100_2481.jpg)

crappie tips anybody? I am going Friday thru Sunday in Southern Illinois. What is a good bait this early? How deep might they be? I usually catch a lot of crappie in later April but don't fish much this early
