My dad picked me up a Ben Pearson Cougar today at a rummage for 30 bucks. 40# and 28 in draw. Looks like it has a new string on it too Anyone got any suggestions for arrows or anything for it? This is my first recurve and I don't really know anything about them but I am ready to learn! Any input about shooting recurves would be greatly appreciated! Thanks Attachments:

My girlfriend has a fairly large basement that is all concrete with nothing really down there. I was thinking about setting up some sort of shooting range down there. I would be able to get 15-20 yard shots which would be fine for me. Lately I've had an itch for shooting but I'm living near campus for school so it is kind of hard for me to go out and shoot whenever I want to. My question is what would you recommend putting behind my target in case of a miss? I have done a little reading and seen some people say hanging a blanket works good or putting plywood behind helps too. I was just curious if anyone on here has a place they shoot inside and if so, what they use? Please help!!!!

Just thought I would stop in and say hi. I live in Muncie right now because I am going to school at Ball State but I hunt in Blackford county. I am pretty excited for the upcoming archery season!
