So it is ok to remove the ones on our land? I remember seeing a post one time that even of they were on your property and you took them down then you could be held responsible for stealing or something of that nature? If not looks like it won't be too tough of a problem to handle after all

Alright so I went out today to do a little shed hunting and just get out in the woods since it was such a nice day out. While I was walking along I ended up finding 5 different tree stands all on our property and none of which are mine! 3 of them are literally right on the property line but they're facing our property so they are obliviously hunting our land. The other two were about 80 yards apart on our land. I also found a trail cam and crossbow bolt which I am assuming is from this past season. My question is what do I do about them?!? I have no clue who they are and I don't want legal problems for taking their stuff. I thought about taking the stands down and leaving a note with out information on it saying if they want their stuff back to give us a call and we will talk but I don't know if that is a good idea or not. What would you guys do? This isn't the first time we have had problems with trespassers either. I have just never found 5 stands in one walk through so I feel something needs to be done and needs to be done soon. Any suggestions?

So I'm looking into getting a new bow this year. I currently hunt with a bear vapor 300 which is about 6 or 7 years old. This past season I really got into bow hunting and want a bow that's going to be able to perform a little better. Anyone heard anything about the Hoyt charger? I talked to a guy today that said they have a ready to hunt combo that comes with everything you need for around 670. I was just curious if any of you have heard anything about them and whether or not they are decent bows or not. Any input would be great! Thanks

wow that thing is even bigger than I was expecting it to be! I can't even imagine seeing a monster like that walking through the woods...I feel like he would be knocking trees down just walking through the trails! Thanks for sharing!

its always more fun when you have buddies to go with...we had a lot of great times in the woods this year. We kinda got thrown into living together and didnt really know each other very well but hunting definitely helped us to bond and form a great friendship that I think will last a long time.

I got my roommate into hunting this year. He bought one of our friends old bows and really got into shooting it with us. I helped him through his hunters education course and tried to teach him all that I could about hunting and how great it can be. He went out quite a bit once bow season came in. He hunted on the land that his fiances dad owned and they had a big buck they called "bucky" on the property. I remember the first time he saw bucky he called me and I could hear the excitement in his voice. He was shaking uncontrollably and I knew that he was hooked. As the season went on, he saw bucky one or two more times but always out of bow range. I told him to keep at it and things would come together. Well tonight while I was at work I got the text I had been waiting on..."BUCKY DOWN" He sent me a picture and man was I happy for him. This buck would be great for anyone but especially great for a first deer. Here is the picture I have of him...Ill put more up if he sends me a better one when he gets him home. I am so stoked that he finally connected with this big guy!

I know right? I think he is the one that I saw last week snorting up a storm and pawing the ground when I wheezed at him...He was fired up and ready to go. I was hoping to try to get a big buck this year but after seeing this guy 2 or 3 times, I felt like I had formed a little relationship with him and grew found of his one little spike on his other side I'm happy with him and he sure is going to taste good!

Well I finally got my buck this morning. He wasn't a monster or anything, but we have a little history...During bow season this guy had snuck in on me and I was torn on whether to shoot him or not because of his broken right side...Well I decided to let him walk. Today I was sitting in the blind and heard the unmistakable crashing of a doe and buck running through the woods...I got ready as the doe popped out. I could hear the buck grunting and he came in fast right on her tail. I grunted to stop him and realized who it was, the same buck with the missing right side. This time I decided it was his time to go. Ran about 40 yards and dropped. All this happened around 8:25 this morning
