I recently bought a belt sander at an auction & it didn't have a parts/operation manual with it. Looking for a pdf or hard copy for it. It's a Rockwell Shop Series disc/belt sander Mod #RK7866.

I was at the store the other day & saw those orange plastic scent wick holder bottles & it got me thinking. Could I take some pvc pipe, pipe fittings, some feminine hygene products & make my own supersized version? Is there any liquid attractant on the market that would be illegal to use in this rig? Is there a size limit on the wick holder bottle?

I use 2" Grim Reapers with 3 blades. A buck & doe last year. Neither ran more than 40 yds. No reason to change as I see it.

I've been trying to prove a bit of wisdom I got from an old timer a few years ago. He says they start to buzz 6-8 weeks before a major cool down in weather. Seems to have held true around here as I mark my calendar each year.

The lake is public lake under DNR control & I own the lakefront property where herbacide would be applied.

That's a scar any turkey hunter would be proud of. Well done.

Can a property owner self apply herbacide to weeds in a beach/swimming area in a natural lake in Indiana?

I never understood why a hunter, when hunting for a boy turkey, would try to sound like another boy turkey. I always try to sound like a girl turkey. You know boy/girl or he/she. Unless it's a ...........!!!

The night before I go out, I take a drop of liquid soap & apply to both sides of each lense. In the morning after it's dried, take a clean clot or tissue & polish the soap off until the lenses are clear (no water). Good to go. I've used this tukey & deer hunting while wearing a full face mask. Works great.

I shot this gobbler opening morning at 7:25am. 24#, 9 1/2" beard, & 1" spurs. I saw this one & another fly down from 100yds away. He came a runnin right away when I started calling. Strutting & drumming towards my decoys. Then worked his way around behind me & all the way back around again. I decided I'd heard & seen enough & shot him at 42 yds.

If a hunter legally takes & reports a turkey kill, can that same hunter accompany another hunter to call for the 2nd hunter in the same season?

That's a good question. I never have used the combo of red dot with green kill light. Is there a reason your not sing a standard scope with your kill light for better range? I don't plan on shooting more than 100 yds. It's in/near a wooded area.

Anybody ever hunt at night with a red dot scope & green spot light/cree light setup? Or does the green wash out the red dot too much? I guess I could change out the LED on my Light and see if that works with the red dots on my EOTech at night. I got the Green LED at first on my Wicked 400 light but soon after I got it I ordered and received a white light to put on the light.
I've not had the chance to take the EOTECH out night hunting yet but plan on using it next season or this summer if I can find someplace to hunt with written permission.
Let me know if it works.

I used 2" 100 gr Grim Reapers this year to take an 8 pt buck & big doe. They come 3 to a package with a practice head that have the blades fixed so you can practice with the same config that you will hunt with.
