If I shoot & properly check-in a deer, & take it to a processor, can I then legally give the deer to my son & have him reimburse me for the processing fee? Not a penny profit for me. My son, in effect, pays for the processing.

I shot a nice doe this morning at 10am. 98# from 20 yds. Can you say backstraps?

Saw 4 does & a spike this morning. None close enough to shoot. Will be back out in a couple hrs.

All I saw today was 11 turkeys, all hens. Haven't seen a deer in 3 weeks. At least they're finishing picking the last field of corn around the woods I hunt in. Maybe the deer will start to feed on acorns now.

I got a pair of Howard Leight's noise cancelling/ sound amplifting muffs. They are great for cancelling the blast of a gun while shooting. They also amplify noise like a goose/duck honk when goose or duck hunting. They also amplify wind noise blowing thru a tree, not good.

When I'm out deer hunting I have to wash all my clothes & spray down with scent killer or the der will smell me & run away. When I put a pair of very smelly old sneakers in my garden to keep the deer from eating EVERYTHING, they totally ignore them & feed there every night.

It's got a rubber bladder in it. Might not be worth the effort to get it all out to make a smoker.

I got my stand next to an apple tree. No big deal either way to me.

Noble County gobbler down. I took this 24# tom at 9:20 today from 22 yds. It was very quiet today, no gobbles at all early. I was within 30 minutes of giving up for the day after calling all morning & hearing nothing when a thundering gobble came from my right. It moved to my left & was a lot closer. I peeked out of my blind & saw a turkey, then two turkeys. They came up to my decoys & strutted & drummed. Great show, easy shot. The big one is now on the way to the smoker. The second one will be next year. www.dropbox.com/s/o4pfto7dqgp39bb/TURKEY010%202015.JPG?dl=0

The 1st thing I looked for when I bought my xbow was the warranty. The higher the speed, the more likely you'll need it.

Found my info. Went direct to Rockwell. Quick response. Thought I could find it quicker online, but not so.
