People have been cheating on both sides for ever..... I just want to see the evidence that has happened this year on a large scale.... All talk no facts! I couldn’t agree more both sides cheat a little every election but this feels different, more blatant almost FU we’ll do what we want haha.

What ever happened to voting for the person you wanted to win, but if they lost you still had respect for the president elect and went on with the next four years. There is nothing YOU can do about this right now, except complain on a hunting forum. Good luck being worried and angry about all this. I’m okay with losing a fair fight but when it seems that there is proof that the other side cheated well that’s a different story.

Rained last night and on the way to my hunting spot, it stopped before I got out of my truck. So far so good as far as the rain is concerned, no deer yet. If we got an inch I’d be surprised.

2 to 5 inches of rain forecasted starting soon through tomorrow. Maybe Friday I hope not, that’s not what it’s showing for my area.

My cameras started showing some daylight movement yesterday that has steadily picked up today, I think I’ll pull an all day hunt tomorrow.

Just made a couple this morning, first when you let someone borrow your chest waders make sure that they are dry before you get to your hunting spot that’s an hour from home, cold wet feet suck, 2nd make sure that all the alarms on your phone are turned off and not set to go off at 7 am lol.

I was all set but when I was shooting my crossbow yesterday I heard and felt a pop. I looked it over really well and didn’t see anything so I shot it again and now it’s shooting about a foot to the left so I dialed it back in and after a shot or two and put it up for the day. Today I looked at it again and found a pretty good size crack on one of the limbs, luckily I have an older backup that I’m going to use but I’m still kinda bummed, I was shooting really well with it. Sorry for your luck. What is it? I learned years ago from others to always have a backup! They are so high strong loaded with stress, anything can happen! I have 3 spare bows now.🙄 I’d rather not say what brand it is, don’t want people to think badly of the company, this is my 3rd crossbow from them and this is the only issue I’ve had.

I think you’d be happier with a summit, comfortable as heck and I feel like it’s more user friendly.

Well you're an old timer. You're one of those fellas where words are golden nuggets ...you don't want to let go of them. I wouldn’t go that far, some might say that I can be a little long winded at times. Lol Howdy!

I love sports, it’s my escape but I’m done. I can not accept this anymore, until people are willing to have an open mind there is no point in trying to fix the problem. All I see is a black man was shot by a police officer, no one wants to talk about what led to this action. It’s really simple, do exactly what you’re told and you won’t get shot!!!! If you feel like you have been wronged ,sue the hell out of whoever wronged you.

All state park hunts are those same hours. They want to give you time to retrieve, check in deer, and check out of the park before dark. Be happy, the start time used to be 7:30am!!! You dont even want to know how many deer we had to let walk by then. That was sickening. They finally fixed it to the half hour before sunrise, after enough complaing, and the safety track record was proven. My guess. I’m not unhappy about it, I get that’s why they stop it so early. It just caught me off guard, I assumed it would be the same but we all know what happens when you assume, lol. I can’t wait to get out there and experience this. In my head I envision deer running around everywhere but I know the reality of it is,it will probably be just like any other time I’ve ever hunted.

I was kind of surprised when I saw that hunting is only allowed to 4pm at the park I was drawn for, guess I just figured it would be the same as the regular season.

Lucky enough to get drawn for early ouabache . We hunted there the first 2 reduction hunts in approx 2003-04. You can imagine the outcome if you remember the parks prior to the reduction hunts. It was a time we will never forget! This is my first park hunt, super excited about it. I have a season pass so I plan on spending a little extra time scouting it come early November.
