It's fun to watch the local weather people get torqued out of shape over the whole "rodent predicting the weather" thing. Some of them take it way too personally... Sad thing is, he does just as good a job as they do. Ain't that the truth!

So what are four bricks of CCI#400 primers worth in today's crazy market? Found out a couple of years ago while building up a decent supply of .223's that the 1000 pieces of once fired brass [9 cents to my door] so what I was processing needed primers and it seemed that 400's was the right primer. Hmmm, 450's gave a touch better accuracy in three .223's of mine so there lies the 400's "maybe" looking for a new home. All those cases needed powder, so what do I have laying around. Hmm, those 8lb. jugs of 2230C [all gone now] should work along with 2nd's of Nosler 55gr. slugs that were on sale give one inch groups when I do my part. My UPS guy had quite a few laughs for a while back when he pulled into my drive way.
Now, doesn't my two M1's and M1A need some food? All that pull down CMR100 powder [8 lb.jugs] which averaged about $14 bucks to my door, should do just fine, along with all the once fired'06 brass I had stocked up on and the 8rd enbloc clips I got for around 50 cents apiece, and topped those off with pull down bullets, 172gr., give me around 2 MOA groups. All those CCI#34 primers I got on to was icing on the cake. I'm out of 168gr. Sierra Match Kings, but have 175 MK's gathering dust until I figure out what to do with them. My Nikon scope on my Remy 700 in .308 needs 168's to put things on line. It's fun to hit pop cans out at my cousins farm at 484 yds, but not all the time, but once in awhile is worth all the work and $$$$$ that went into it.
A little experiencing ahead on what works for you, and then checking the Net for who's got it pays off in the long range.

Pave it, build on it, call it economic progress, or whatever you want to call it., but it boils down to fatten up some ones bank account. Not much different than when the idea to run a pipeline from Monroe Reservoir northward to Indy No Where reared it's ugly head.

A billion dollar jack pot is indeed a whole lot of money, and over the years I've always wondered just how much will a single winner actually "take home" after all the governmental folk take their fair [?] share. Give or take a point or two one way or the other will result in some where around 60% disappearing right off the bat, leaving the winner with around 40%.
Extremely smart research with a lawyer, tax consultant, and an investment advisor before one evens comes forward as the winner might just save you millions. And don't forget your name and where you live will make you a target for ever low life, scum sucking, worthless piece of human garbage wanting to help you invest, give to certain organizations, help them get out of debt, etc.,etc.,etc.
I've read so many stories of door bells ringing almost 24hrs. a day wanting your money, and drop your home phone number as quick as you can. Disappear if at all possible for at least a month or more while paying a LEO to hang out in your front yard for a few weeks to intercept unwanted "guests".
BTW, a $400,000,000.00 invested at say 3.5% [tax free]might just result in around $14,000,000.00 a year income or $1,166,666.00 a month to play with. Did I even come close with my arithmetic? YMMV

Saw that last night. Hmmm, over 70 is an option, but scroll down to get more info and it's full of options that doesn't seem to apply to the average individual. Looked it over and up and down, didn't seem to make sense in the least. Am I not reading it right?
Went to our VA Community Based Out Patient Clinic where I normally get flu shots and such to see if I could get a straight answer. Told to get on the Net, sign in, wait for further info, get an appointment, then go to the VA hospital in Indianapolis, better known as "Indy No Where", for your shot. What, I'll have to go to Indy when I live 10 minutes or less from here? That's where the vaccine is she said. She asked if that's what I wanted to know. Just told her it didn't and I'm leaving before I say something I'll regret.
Hope everyone else has a better experience.

Yup, think Venezuela and the long lines of people trying to get some cash out of their bank account because their paychecks were there via direct deposit. Think you had, say about 300 bucks in there but you could only withdraw 15 bucks maximum, seeing as how the Federal 'Guvmint said so to prevent the bank from failing altogether and had to close. It happened during the 30's here in the good old USA. I have friends who have a lot of money in the bank and if I would sell them one of my firearms for a certain amount and they wanted to give me a check, I would ask for cash, PERIOD!

After seeing the recording of ballets that were hidden underneath tables being taken out and placed as what voters had actually used and officially recorded instead of the real ballots that disappeared, and all of the other reports that came in makes a person wonder just how straight or how crooked was this election. Just one persons view of what went on.

Awhile back I got a over all pamphlet in the mail from Edward Jones describing opportunities for one to invest in stocks or bonds. Looking over it, and targeting the possibilities for Indiana I saw some bonds for Section 6 of the "new and improved I-69". Hmmmm, our illustrious Governor has repeatedly stated that I-69 was paid for and will soon be completed. In my world, "paid for" means no more checks going out to pay for that project but I find that I can purchase 30 year bonds to pay the for the final work. Years ago when the wife and I had a new house built and any and all bills were paid off, we still did not own the house as the loan to pay for all of that consisted of monthly payments that was strung out over 20 years, plus we had to put the banks name as part owners of the lot that we had owned outright for several years. Now if the last section of I-69 is supposedly paid for, how can it be paid for if the State is still paying of all those bonds for 30 years. Ah, yes, it's called "smoke and mirrors"! Anybody care to describe how I am wrong in my assessment of how I see things?

When the last ammo shortage happened, I started a .22LR stash, money that is. Checked the prices around here and there, got an idea of quality, price, and accuracy from over the Net. Did some shooting of different makes and came up with Federal .22LR, copper plated, 36gr. hollow points, 550 pack I had left over on a back shelf that was the most accurate in 3 .22 rifles I have. Hmmm, where did I get those? More digging and a receipt showed up. Wally World here in town. Went down to check to see if they had any on the shelves. Yep, several at $21.34 out the door. That's 3.88 cents apiece. Bought a few, back to the store for more, then they were all gone. Then when the shortage was over and things were picking up again, every occasion for a good while a town visit also meant a stop at WW. My trips slowed down a bit when I decided to make a complete inventory of old and new .22's. Yipes, gotta get about 3 more boxes and that's it, period. Final count was right at around 28,500, but have shot a few since the count. Otherwise, if possible start saving dollars right now even if it just pocket change, for the next time the shelves start filling up.

By all means, several copies of that will. Well to do uncle of mine bought 40 acres of ground close to where I live now. I kept the right of way road in good shape, helped build a shooting cover with two benches, kept the grass moved, set up target butts at 200 yards, eventually built a foot bridge over a large creek, cleared out a wooded area out to make it a 300 yd. range, uncle said it was the first time he could go to the other part of his land any time [think spring flooding] and he really appreciated all the work I had done. Years later he had heart problems, couldn't get down to shoot for several years, and when he did he was shocked at how good I had taken care of the place. Mean time his found out about his wife's boyfriend and changed his will. I was to get the 40 acres, period. Told me his will was in his safe deposit box up in Indy. Bad heart finally got the best of him, shortly after his funeral I got a call one evening from a lady who worked at his bank [name withheld for fear of reprisals] verified who I was, and told me that his widow came to the bank to talk to a good lady friend who just happened to be the manager of that bank. She just needed some cash for every day expenses, and knew there was some in that box. Box was under "lock out" but wound up being opened anyway and reading the "last will and testament", she was shocked that she was cut out of a lot of stocks, bonds, cars, and cash. Will and other information was taken home, nothing important was left for a court appointed person to look over. Yes, by all means, MAKE SEVERAL COPIES AND DON'T TELL EVERY TOM, Dick, AND HARRY WHAT YOU HAVE DONE!!!!!

Purchased more than one and refused to give out my SS number, got Ok'd any way, and carried it out the door. Filled out the form for a new firearm once while sitting in a police car out behind our local City Hall, didn't give out the SS# on that one either.

Simple, get a candidate in the White House that has been on radio, TV, interviews, public appearances for forty years and he will get tens of millions of votes from the "bullet" voters, the kind that just push the DumbocRAT button without ever looking at who is actually running for office. With Binden's dementia showing up at an ever increasing rate, he will make a announcement that he is resigning for the good of the country. Then look who, by law, becomes POTUS. Then who would step in to become the VPOTUS? Makes sense to me if this happens and then it's "you gotta be s*** me" time!

I have not missed voting in either the primary, nor the major elections, not one. First Presidential had to be done by mail as their was no voting locations in 1968 near me at ChuLai,South Vietnam and I was forced to vote absentee. My late father once told me that I would never, ever, be able to vote for the best candidate, you will however be voting for the lesser of the two evils. To this day that has been the order of the day. and expect that to be the state of things until it's my dirt nap time.
