My SIL and his wife decided to adopt an orphan infant from China. It was a little controversial in the family at the time, because of the great expense that was really beyond their means at the time. The total was over $40K. We finally decided to help them financially and some others did too. At the time, I questioned their judgment.
Today, 16 years later, we have a granddaughter that is the light of everyone's life. Straight A student, plays piano, soccer star, acts in Community Theater, black belt in karate, and is a decent artist. And, loves fishing and exploring the woods with grandpa. One of her prized possessions is a Bill Dance autograph on her Zebco 33.
She is just a wonderful young lady. Those things we cashed in to help them seemed like a lot at the time, but it's only money.
It just goes to show that we never know what God's plan is, we just need to follow where we are led.

One thing that is not talked about are miscarriages and still birth. One of every 4 pregnancies are miscarriages or still birth. There are over a million miscarriages or still births every year. More of these than abortions. The big issue most states, hospitals, funeral homes or religions do not recognize the miscarriage or still born baby as a baby and parents have no right (law) to even hold that baby or give a proper funeral. Most get thrown into medical trash. Having a miscarriage or still born birth is one of the hardest worst event a couple will endure in their marriage. This is very little pre, labor and post support or options for the parents of that baby. 58% of couples get divorced after a miscarriage or still birth. Laws protecting that baby varies from state to state. Just like the abortions will be after this decision.

I can guarantee you parents and families DO have the right to have a proper burial burial for premature infants stillborns. I attended the funeral and funeral mass for my stillborn little brother. My Mom did not because women in the 50's usually had a long hospital stay. My Niece had a full Catholic burial for her stillborn premature child. As far as the 1 in 4 see this report. www.cdc.gov/ncbddd/stillbirth/data.html

As far as the 1 in 4 see this report. www.cdc.gov/ncbddd/stillbirth/data.htmlI'm a member of the Heaven Gain Ministries. We just made a new video for the pro-life groups. Our meeting was just last night. Yes, Stillbirth is like 1 in every 350 something. Still born varies from state to state. Anywhere from 14 weeks to 20 weeks labeled stillborn. I think Hawaii is 20 weeks or later. Indiana and Ohio is 14 and 16 weeks. Not sure which is which. I think IN is 14 and Ohio 16. Can't remember KY. It was similar. The rights of the families per state depends of this label. A stillborn parents have some rights where a miscarriage's has non in most states. Very very few Catholic priests will baptize a miscarriage or stillborn. If your priest or pastor does then you are blessed to have one that understands. heavensgain.org/

To my understanding of the Scotus ruled with Mississippi that an abortion can't happen after 15 weeks. So I would think that some states will need to change the definition of miscarriage and stillborn to 15 weeks. There is one state at 4 weeks. No heartbeat baby after 4 weeks is considered stillborn. Most were 14 to 17 weeks.

Indiana lawmakers are poised to further restrict or ban abortion in mere weeks. The Indiana General Assembly will convene in a special session July 25 when it will discuss restrictions to abortion policy along with inflation relief. t.co/4NIOPeDpCW

I realize he has a mental decline, but his handlers aren't doing a good job of helping him out any.

So, what does everyone think in this latest story of a ten year old Ohio girl coming to Indiana for an abortion? Not saying it didn’t happen but there are a lot of unanswered questions and weird circumstances. Bottom line though is the guy should be strung up and the girl’s circumstance should fall under one of the exemptions most states have in place.

So, what does everyone think in this latest story of a ten year old Ohio girl coming to Indiana for an abortion? Sounds like the mom allowed such things to happen and never reported any of it. Somehow the girl got help and an arrest was made. To me, there is further investigation needed and more arrests made.

You can’t string someone up if you’re “Pro-Life”… I did see they have arrested someone for the rape!

What a mess...
A Telmundo reporter tracked down the "mother". She said her daughter was fine and the media was spreading lies about the guy who supposedly raped her. The reporter talked to neighbors and found out that the "mother" and the alleged rapist were in a "domestic relationship". IOW - shacking up. The neighbor also said that the "mother" is pregnant too. My bet is that she is illegal too and that is why she did not report it. Just a hunch.
The Ohio AG said the girl did not have to go to Indiana to have the procedure as there are exceptions on Ohio's laws for this.
I'm curious as to how and why the Indy Star found out about this. Was there a motive behind it? It seems to me that the child's welfare should have been put above all else and not nationally publicize it.
The perp should not see the light of day again if he is convicted....
BTW - There is a gofundme account set up for the abortion doctor. Why?
