Fellers, I've got two words to say on this OBR stuff. IT'S OVER..The NRC has preliminarily adopted the IDNR proposal of 5 more years of the OBR (at least). In February they will finalize that proposal. It's done... it's over...It does absolutely no good to rehash and rehash this over and over and over again here. If you have a comment, either way, please make it known at the NRC site. huntingindiana.proboards52.com/index.cgi?board=deerhunting&action=display&thread=1164671556. What a GREAT day it was...Nov. 14 2006

Plenty of LEGAL ways of getting that 2nd or 3rd buck if you want to work for it..... UDZ's, Military hunts, Park Reduction Hunts.... Just gotta apply and hope you make the cut.

The question posed is about like asking ....... "How many of you would accept $1,000,000 if the banks were giving it away starting tomorrow?"
The answer does not much matter, because neither of these crazy scenarios are going to happen.
However ......... I'd still kill some does here for meat, and go elsewhere for antlers. It wouldn't be near as much fun to me, if all we were allowed were does. Too easy.

The fact that he had a "winky" at the end of the sentence led me to beleive that he was just joking. I could be wrong, but I hope not. If however he wasn't joking I certainly hope he reconsiders his statement and doesn't try to pull such a stunt. And if her does pull such a stunt I hope that he gets caught. Maybe lugnutz owes us a little explanation here?? .

Yeah maybe he was kidding, but too many people do that (have their family members tag deer for them)...Party Hunting... That's a big problem and anyone who does that should lose their PRIVLEDGE to Hunt.....Where there's smoke there's fire..

But its a well known fact that some hunters/poachers do use their wives, or whomever to get more tags. And yes if a hunter feels that he absolutely needs a second buck, he will more than likely do those types of things.

I deleted my original post. Maybe I jumped the gun a little. Thats a sensitive subject with me. I have a neighbor who party hunts and he finally got caught last year after he shot two very nice deer one being a 160 class buck, I was hunting, after he already killed a 150 inch deer...Anway the Game Warden has that rack now in the back of his SUV....It goes back to us as hunter be responsible and regulating ourselves...

Please don't use the word "hunter" to refer to these people...they are poachers, plain and simple.

Then they become a poacher. .
