Hunting over ag field for first time in my life. Cut corn. Seen Lee and Tiffany do it many times. At what time should I expect the 80+ deer to show up and are the 180" bucks usually close behind? Your in wrong State and probably not spent enough money $$$$$$ yet! Its getting close to Christmas so you can still wish.

Nephew got this one this morning. He is suposto be sending me the hunting story. Will post when it comes in Can't keep track of thier ages. I think he is 12 or13. Thank you, it was a great hunt and I was really wanting to shoot the big one today. We were seeing some doe and a couple bucks had walked out. It was at like 745 i saw the buck walking out of the woods. All I could see was it had a wide rack and about 8 points. I was debating weather to wait or shoot the deer. I decided I better not pass and started to get the 12 gauge out. It was like 30 yards out. It walking towards us and I waited 45 seconds or so until it turned sideways, and then pulled the trigger. He ran into the woods and then I couldn't see him. We waited like an hour and my dad was sure I shot over the deer. When we got out, we went and looked for the blood. My dad looked through his scope and saw the deer in the woods, but didn't tell me. We tracked the blood and eventually I saw it and walked over to it. I was super excited and we went and got pictures. My dad and I gutted the deer, and then we dragged it out of the woods.I also saved the heart and made some really good heart steak out of it and it tastes great. I really like these kind of stories

I got to at least see one nice buck this evening. Too far out to consider a shot though.
