Did I hear it right when they said this is only the second win over MI in the last 100 years? WOW! Good to see them hang on. Like the anaology of not knowing how the tea tastes until its in hot water. Found ways to win, defense and special teams really shined.
We won our game over Tell City last night. Had one of our backs.....probably game of a lifetime. Touched the ball six times for 250 yards, 2 rushing TDs, a pass reception for a TD, KOR for a TD and an interception. I also coached his dad who was a heckuva athlete and great family. On to the Linton Miners this coming Friday

I couldn’t believe that stat either. Second time in a century. Good luck to your boys in the coming game. Heckuva game that player had. Gonna be hard to top that one. We are close to martinsville and know some of their players so been keeping an eye on them. Got Evansville-Reitz coming up. At least they are at home.

What a game tonight between martinsville and reitz. That’s what high school football is all about. Martinsville coming out on top by scoring with under a minute left after a blocked punt.

Back and forth the entire game. Thought we had em up 21-8 but couldn't get stops. Had the ball up 21-16 with 2 minutes left but could not get a 1st down. Scored with .27 left and they won 22-21. Tough on the kids with the first game you lose in the only game all year. Sun rises again and they'll realize they had a great season. Looked like there were some really good games. |
