56 - 7 IU 3:45 left EDIt - final score Continue to be more and more impressed with this bunch. I wasn't sure how this game would go but I sure didn't expect 56-7. Didn't realize that IU is only one of two teams that have never trailed in a game this year. Who would've thought a stat like that would have been tagged to IU football. Team in fun to watch and Coach Cig has his foot on the gas all the time. |

That is a bummer. Jackson stepped in and played well yesterday, so hopefully he can continue to grow as he gets more time behind the ball.

Another beautiful evening for some Friday night lights. First round of sectionals. We are up 35-0 at half, so barring any major turnarounds we should be playing next Friday as well.

My guys are not doing so well, playing #1 in 3A down 20-0 at half. We'll see how it goes, might leave more time to deer hunt.

Looks like we will be heading to north Harrison to play next Friday. Another nearly 4 hour round trip for us. Makes for a long day.

I got to go to the IU game today. Only made the second hal because of a daughter’s regional CC meet. Their defense and special teams won the day, hope Rourke gets back next weekend. Hoping for at least an 11-1 season. My boy (Plymouth) won their sectional game last night. Good weekend so far.

Man, I just saw the video replay of the Danville- Brebeuf game from last night. Those Danville kids got jobbed. The call may not have been wrong, but the officials letting themselves be talked into it was HORRIFIC....embarrassing.

The final play in regulation was crazy....4 laterals ends up being a 60 yard score with no time left to send the game to OT. I tend to agree with you on that call. Awful way to end the season. |
