For those of you who have ROKU television you can subscribe to MOTV it has all of the seasons of Michael Waddell's
CAN'T STOP THE FLOP turkey hunting shows.
The first 2 shows of season 1 are just OK but the rest of the 6-7 years worth are educational.
Waddell is a turkey hunting machine, he does things I would never dream of doing.

No bird for us. Impatients bit us in the butt. Decided one more move to finish the day. Tore down, got almost to the truck, look back, and yep you guessed it, a strutter where we just left. All we could do was laugh. A great lesson learned. If you have confidence in your setup, stay with it. Oh well, we had a really good time. My draw hunts are this Wed-Fri. Try again. Went and did some walking around this morning. Between the drive and my walk I saw 14 turkeys with the majority being gobblers. Got to watch one strutting for a while not long after I got to the property. Then 3-4 others gobbling their fool heads off in another field on the opposite end of the property.

Checking in to fish crane and saw a group of youths checking out. Their group got 3 this weekend!

There is better than 2 weeks of practicing ones patients starting this coming Wednesday, you and Luke will succeed. Heck yeah. Looking forward to warmer temps and rain to get more in the turkey hunting mood. I know Luke had a good time and learned alot. When he asks a lot of questions, he is interested. |

We roosted some birds last night and will be setting up fairly close to them this morning. With any luck, we'll be where they're wanting to go.

All settled in.
Had 2 guys pull up next me and asked where I was going. I pointed, and the one says kinda mad that THEY were hunting a specific bird that way. Lol.
Typical public land fun. Luckily they drove away and turned the other direction, so they can go pout somewhere else. 🙄
