Made a loop on private this morning but never heard a bird. Too much to-do around the house so headed home. May try public tomorrow morning.

Yep.. he is cutting across the field behind me about 150 yards east of me. Looks to be crossing my ditch further down

They’re gone .. no amount of my sexually calling could entice them my way. Three went east the same way the earlier gobbler went. One went back in the woods the way that they came from. Close but no ceeegggaaaarrr!

5 jakes came into the decoys and one started whipping up on Woodmaster’s stuffer. It’s not in the best of shape anyways so I ran them off. Got to get out of the blind and and straighten it back up as soon as they leave

Turkey Hunting is Stupid!!!!! LOL. Hunted unti 12:30 Cst time and nothing to show for it. Now I have to get some chores done and back at tomorrow again.

Sure glad I chose the blind this AM, had no inkling of the rain coming. Set the decoy and boy here it came for about 15 minutes. Had one gobbling close, heard him fly down and worked him 20 minutes or so and then he headed off still gobbling. He finally faded away but came back. Put a sneak on and was able to see him but he evidently saw me or something he did not like and away he went. Good hunt, frustrating but better than not hearing anything. Ready to get after em tomorrow.

Getting ready to start my walk back to the field. Gonna try to close in on them on the roost if they gobble. This may be my last go at these stupid birds.

Finally got out fur a morning hunt.
