We are in and ready for action. Had a doe check us out at 10yd for awhile. Thermacell is working overtime on the edge of a swamp.
Mosquitoes=mercy!
No gobbles so far, but everything else is really thriving.

Had an early gobble pretty far south of me. Had a possum amble by. He didn’t like the decoys and made a detour around them.

They finally started gobbling just a bit ago but it sure didn’t last long. Set up on a field edge now just hoping they’ll stroll through once the sun comes up.

Got a gobbler picking in the field behind me at about 175 yards. He pays zero attention to my love sick calls.

Really foggy in Marshall county. Birds may hang tight until it clears up some. We are not in it for the long haul today. Both of us only got about 4hrs of sleep and are pretty tired. I said we can take turns napping. Response-🙄. Lol.
We get a close gobble and it will change his tune! 😉

Could care less about the decoys or calls. Slowly walking away.

I had two gobblers come out across from me anout 125 yards down. They picked a little and then headed east away from me. Calls didn’t phase them.

Had four gobblers fire back up for a good 30-45 minutes and then it seems They all went the other direction from where I’m at. All in quiet now, except some thunder which was totally unexpected. I may get wet here in a few.

Got a couple Canada geese in the field about 150 yards west of me. Now they took wing honking all the way.
Nice seeing critters even if they arent the ones we are after.
